GravityGrave Posted February 23, 2012 Share Posted February 23, 2012 Personally I would give mellor a run at left back, let him learn the position hes only 18 and will make mistakes positionally but he gives us balance and great delivery aswell as strength , play him there till the end of the season . But, clubs were rumoured to be interested in spending money on him as a midfielder.....which means he's a decent midfield prospect. The longer he doesn't play in midfield, the more likley he is not to progress in his best position. Ok, First team, he may not get in midfield, so left back is still first team experiance....but reserves? Surley we don't have 2 other central midfielders ahead of him at the moment?
