Firstly, headed for white hart on oldham rd royton ( admittedly at short notice ) the place was rammed and no room at the inn, so headed down to the old grey mare........No sky, only some foreign channel with no english commentary. This was soon turned off. The place was like a morgue except for some dickhead united fan annoying the life out of everyone ( no wonder everyone hates their arrogance! ) A :censored:e match ( united were piss poor......move over fergie ) The highlights were the few pints i had plus this bag of chips...........Roll on saturday! I was hoping for a better match for a start, The rest of it ( i.e arrogant fans ) went pretty much to expectations. I thought united were far too cagey for their own good. The right result and it keeps it real to the end of the season. Anyone else note the sweet irony of the events that contributed to the winning goal - Rooney had sat on his backside after the first half clash with Kompany until the referee stopped play for him to have the treatment he didn't really need - his interest was more in ensuring that the referee (unjustly) produced a yellow card for the city captain - this only served to fire up Kompany who then scored the winner in the time added on for this stoppage at the end of the first half - sweet as!
