Tuesday is the team's chance to make a statement of their intent against one of weaker teams in the league who have just been battered at home today. oafcmad09 Posted August 18, 2012 Share Posted August 18, 2012 It was the first game of the season against a good side who as you said are promotion candidates. We had a goal disallowed (arguably a perfectly good goal) so in effect the score was 2-1 in the sense that we got a goal that was onside or only millimetres offside. I'd say montano wasn't quite fully fit or just not up for it. He will hopefully get better so I can live with that after only seeing him for 70mins. We can still bring in players so assuming we get some players in, our team will get better. After saying all that I think we can get a few good result and comfortably finish mid-table.
