eyres_28
Can't wait till Saturday but can't help but think the loss of Furman to the approach of the team (over past 2 games) may be a very decisive factor. I really don't think Sheff Utd are any good, and we can't forget last season! But, a repeat of the poor midfield performance of the 1st half last yr will end in a spanking (could have been 5-0 at HT). Wes is back in which is SO SO key for us, but without el capitano who should sit alongside him?
oafcprozac
No offence but how many threads do we need on Furman being out? He's done ok the last two games by basically doing what he's asked to do - namely get forward. I'm sure anyone who comes in will do a decent job. Not arsed either way... iamjonesyyoafc
will probably be Mchangama that comes in in a straight swap, but I wouldn't mind seeing maybe Simmo back in the team or maybe even Baxter CAM, Wes CDM and Smith & Derbyshire up top. I like the attacking intent but i think away at Sheff Utd Dickov will want a bit more protection. Changy for me
slystallone
I'd want Mellor in there; but it will M'Changy. As long as whoever it is does the simple things, and presses high with tempo; we wont see too much difference IMO. Wes is the key player in the midfield for me, and he's still in there. stargazer
I have little doubt M'Changama will start, and I worry big time that we will be able to handle Furman's absence .....he was terrific against Preston.
oafc-latics
Simpson starts Baxter with Wes and Simpson taking Baxter's role? Think Simpson in CM might be good for him, give him the ball get him linking with Baxter, might be a good move
NewBlue
I would have liked M'Changama replacing Furman but I've called for Simpson in CM for a long time now so I'm excited for him to be able to show his talent on the ball.
