rudemedic
Good job he only punched him instead of being mean on Twitter. Nevermind disrupting a mere football match as opposed to the boat race.
Guest Scratch2000uk
Jailed for 16 weeks. I've never known a case to get processed so quickly. If they left it longer he would probably have got community service, Best to judge it early, when everyone's outrgaed.

Nitpick hat on 4 months is at least a week longer than Cawley got- he got 16 weeks, which doesn't equal 4 months.

jsslatic
a hibs fan attacked andy goram at a rangers match , the fan i 1years jail In fairness, the Hibs fan had a previous conviction for assault. Cawley has a previous conviction for disorder or being part of riotous football mob or something like that but I don't believe he has an assault conviction. Not saying he shouldn't have got longer, just that it's not necessarily out of whack with other sentences for similar incidents.
Roger Ritchie
Didn't the Huddersfield fan who struck the liner when we played them years ago get two years?
