oafcprozac
He was, but JR dropped him for the telling final trilogy after the 4-1 drubbing at Spurs, shoe-horning Stevie Redmond in as a sweeper
oafcprozac
Favourite game of that season apart from beating United, was the 2-2 at Everton - dead and buried on a horrendous run of 1 win 8 during which we'd scored only 3 goals and somehow salvaged a point from another defeat. It was the catalyst that kept us up and Adams scored both that day at his former employers….
Lee Sinnott
It depresses me looking back at how good we used to be. We can't even beat :censored:ing Yeovil these days!
Laticacid
I remember Redmond wearing no 7 at villa park, hooking a goal bound effort off the line, was meant to be for us that day

That game was one of the ones Fashanu and Segers were alleged to have thrown in the bung scandal that also feature Grobelaar. 2.) Olney chipped in with quite a few useful goals that season a personal favourite was the last minute winner against Spurs.
