Glynn Snodin is an interesting one, has worked with Grayson (who rated him highly), ex Latics so has an afifnity with the club, knows this division, and I imagine lives not too far away.

He didn't get the Doncaster job, but seems ambitious and looks to tick all the boxes for the Latics post.

In the running at 20/1....What do you think ?

Community person.... links.... worked with Warren Feeney so needs a break in life. Well respected.

I might just risk a tenner on Snodin.

More experience than PD, and I seem to remember along with his brother he did ok at the Latics, albeit in a short spell.

Quote from Wiki;

Snodin was appointed the new assistant manager of Leeds United. Snodin was part of the Leeds management team who earned a 1–0 win away to Manchester United in the FA Cup Third Round.

Neil Redfearn is just as likely as Glynn Snodin and has a very similar CV but is currently in work, and more of a legend here. In fact Redfearn took over as caretaker at Leeds when Grayson (and Snodin) were sacked.

Snodin has a past team connection too with Paul Murray who was apparently brought in to help out.. am I reading too much into that ?

Redfearn and Snodin are interesting possibles. Wouldn't mind giving either a go.

I did wonder about the appointment of Murray and his avowed coaching ambitions. Interesting.
