Recommended Posts

Thomas Frost(Weatherspoons pub)was decent last time we played them at Goodison and is walking distance from the ground.Personally I'm getting into the city centre about 1.00 starting in the Blob Shop boozer for a few Aussie Whites before staggering to the next watering hole.

jorvik latic mentioned on the other thread that the Twelfth Man on Walton Breck Road next to Anfield's welcoming Latics fans before the game.

Incidentally, after the programme on Saturday said to avoid the pubs near Lime St, I asked around and the general consensus is that advice is about 25 years out of date. The only one I would have avoided was the Irish American (next door to McHales) but apparently even that's something of an old blokes' pub now. You shouldn't have any trouble unless you go looking for it.
