IceStationLatic
Terrible performance. Yet, sadly, one that the FA would have dubbed 'to the book' and given him praise for. There is no way, in a million years, that Oliver would have allowed Smith's goal to stand in the first leg. And after our cup game, didn't he then promptly start giving loads of penalties... ? But to count, of course, they had to be completely dubious and in stoppage time. Think he gave the penalty Brentford missed in the madness against Doncaster. And then the one for Leicester (an absolute shocker) that was missed before Watford went up the other end and scored!
blueatheart
Baines took a throw in eighteen yards from the corner flag where it went out, lead to one of their goals.
NewBlue
Although it bears little significance now as we survived relegation, if we are on the topic of tragic referees can we take a moment to think about Andy Woolmer's performance in the Sheffield United match at home. The worst referee I have ever seen. His :censored: status almost equals Michael Oliver.
beag_teeets
That was a shocking performance, we got nowt. McGuire could have shot one of our lads and he'd have got the free kick.

Not that the Sheff Utd game would have mattered anyway, they will always beat us 2-0 at home and we will always score last minute away, :censored: ref or not. Had Michael Oliver given that penalty where Gibson chucked the ball up his top and ran to the halfway line with it, then we would be looking forward to a European Qualifying tie away at Bala Town
