grahamb Posted December 3, 2013 Share Posted December 3, 2013 January 14 2014 our reserves play man city in the Manchester senior cup . would there be any chance we could try to raise a good crowd to get behind whatever assortment of kids /fringe players we put out against the multi millionaire development squad citeh send . if every season ticket holder turned out we would have 2,000 plus straight away and if I am right it would not cost em a penny. back that up with an appeal for some die hards to turn out have a few beers and give the youngsters some vocal support and have agood old freezing night out at BP . I heard spurs fans did this last year and got around 3,000 to back their kids in similar circumstances .just mindless don't care what the score is backing for our boys who normally play in front of mum , dad and the dog . maybe cost £20 for the night including carparking a pint and a pie . im just throwing down a gauntlet . I say this tongue in cheek so please dont get too uptight but isnt there a chance that one or two of their "fringe players" could be in our first team?
