Bristolatic Posted September 27, 2017 Share Posted September 27, 2017 I'm home now, discharged from hospital yesterday after 12 days. The diagnosis is Pericarditis and Pleuritis. Ongoing medication, x-rays and heart scans to come and check ups for the next three months, but need to ease back into normal life gradually. FWIW Pericarditis is inflammation of the fibrous sack that surrounds the heart and pleuritis is inflammation of the tissue that surrounds the lungs.
