Thought I'd bring the following article to your attention:

http://football.guardian.co.uk/comment/sto...2160852,00.html

It's about clubs changing their intro music cos they think it has a bad effect on their teams (eg Preston and Can't Help Falling In Love [uB40 version, natch]).

Anyway, writer Paul Wilson goes on to mention our lot's former run-on track and adds the following: "Latics fans in exile still have 'Mouldy Old Dough' as their ringtone of choice".

I wonder, does he have anyone specific in mind? Anyone own up to meeting him? Mark?

I had it for a while, but now it's Big Gordon having a sex wee at Scunny last year. Trouble is, people hang up before he's got to, "IT'S A FANTASTIC STRIIIIIKE!"

In the Isle of Man in 1997 fans of all competing clubs, including PNE and Latics, sang each other's songs all week and 'Can't Help Falling In Love' went down particularly well. Preston had good times under Billy Davies, but just failed to get into the top flight. You can't blame a good song for that!
