What we need to bring on more than anything is a striker. We haven't got one. Vaughan and Bahamboula could put in another twenty through balls before the end of the match, but Hope will be twenty yards away from any of them.

For me, Huddersfield and Bradford have more of a derby feel than Preston. Macclesfield never felt like a derby despite being closer than Blackburn. Here's hoping we stay up and Stockport win the National League, it will be good to have that local rivalry back.

I agree that Kewell wasn't going to get us anywhere near the playoffs, but 16th is a lot better for our long term future than 24th. Curle needs to throw a bit more caution to the wind, particularly against our fellow strugglers, if we are going to reach safety.
