He'll go to Gateshead and turn into Lothar Matthäus...
It doesn't matter who leaves but it's odds on they'll perform far better after leaving us

Ah forget it
We're in the same league next season and hopefully we're not a shite as we have been this.
Mellon has 10 games or else

Bizarre
Everything's bizarre about this season and the last
Let's hope we get it right the third time of asking

Benny Couto best player on the field, but still light weight.
I wouldn't write him off though. Ashton number 10 Cusani about 6ft 5" playing wide right is strange, but although lacking pace looks decent.
0-0 half time, a bit like watching Latics.
Is Mellon there taking lessons?

Halifax have pissed us about long enough with this fixture. Playing at chesterfield is a joke, 100 mile round trip. Get a refund so it costs Halifax more to host this fixtur
Should be made to forfeit the points for being so tinpot

How do u remember stuff like this? I barely remember that 2 matches.
I'm like you, things pass me by but I can't ever forget that stupendous result he orchestrated at Fulham,
Going off what I've seen, I'll be long gone before Mellon does the same and no matter what player's he brings in

I have very little appetite for appointing someone that knows the club inside out. Not even sure what it means to be honest
he’s done very well
Figure of speech,
Local lad, well respected at the club and would have known the day to day workings of it,
as opposed to an outsider, who wouldn't even know where the milks kept.

I wouldn’t be overly upset if he resigned or was sacked but I think next season will be a reset anyway and in that respect I don’t think getting another manager in will change things very much to be honest.
The only acquisition to excite me would be Pete Wild but that’s probably not an option right now especially if he were to get Barrow promoted.
If it weren’t for the Lemmies he would almost certainly have still been here and we’d probably have been at least one division higher.
We had the perfect manager here already, unfortunately, it was at the wrong time!
Crazy to think he's got any chance at all of taking such a tiny club like Barrow to such great heights and he was definitely the right man for the job here.
Actually cared, he knew the club inside out and had a very good rapport with the fan's,
One that got away instead of the one's you want to get as far away as possible

First pick of course.
If we could of signed all the one's you'd tipped
We'd of easily of been sat in the play offs now and probably would have had a decent chance at them aswell
Never mind, there's always next season but I'm still doubting the recruitment even before it's happened

Sadly, it's time to say goodbye and I've gone for all of the above to go, yep, even Big Mike.
Others should/will be joining them I'm guessing, although I can't say that I'll lose any sleep over it.

Tell us what Darren Royle has been responsible for exactly and how he has failed...
He's an Evertonian for a start, after that take your pick

Stop what? Saying Mellon should be given time or criticising fans who are trying to hound Norwood out?
There's plenty of striker's doing far better in this league on far less money than Norwood but saying that, could Mellon get the same out of them?

Four to five season's?
Didn't we have a 3 year plan? Frank won't be having any of that, I know I wouldn't if I was paying for such failure

Spot on.
He’s saying it’s a mess, and he doesn’t escape criticism.
Seems pretty bang on to me.
Difference is, he's the one calling all the shots
I wouldn't put up with some of these wasters at work on peanuts, let alone kicking around a bag of wind on top money

Same as saying no evidence Lewis Hamilton has the nous, desire or ability to win an F1 championship
Please stop living in failing manager's pockets

But that's not a reflection on the fans is it. See I kind of detach myself from My football clubs underachievement as I know it's not my fault or your fault or any other of the supporters fault.
To be perfectly honest I just want this season to be done so we can press the reset button. Looking at the lack of activity on this thread alot of other people do too. I know we say that almost every year but I do feel that this year unlike most of the last 15 or so is one where we are in a position to put right what went on this season.
I just ask myself, why are we failing so badly, when everything that's been asked for has been delivered, bar what's happening when they cross that white line?
We could easily outstay our welcome for year's, if the past two are anything to go by.

But I'm putting out there now a game of football between 2 teams in the 5th tier 1 has only won 1 in 11 and their season is over the other has already been relegated therefore their season is also over won't be greatest game of football the world has ever seen.
Something to be real proud of that
Shitshow extraordinaire, what's the fooking point then?
Jackshit to play for then, a theme that's been playing out season after season

If results allow them that opportunity. .He gets this summer, if things don’t approve to agreed expectations he and shouldn’t get another window.
Of his signings I’d say.
Stones was class.
Garner/Hammond/Conlon have been a mixture of ok/shown glimpses.
Walker Dallas Sav haven’t worked out.
One belter out of seven isn’t great, and as 55 says the ratio of good to ok to bad will need to really improve.
I can see those immortal words arising quite soon into the new season If he doesn't
'Has he gone yet'?
