  1. Just back from Boundary Park 5-1 to the Latics :) .

Very impressed with the No: 8 David Mellor (ex United I believe).

Holding/defensive midfielder, strong in the tackle, good vision of the game, very good passer and a big lad to boot.

Dickov was there watching the match but went after 30 minutes.

Ryan Brooke could be in the starting line up on Saturday after his brace of goals and very good display.

  2. Maybe if you called me more I wouldn't be so broken hearted!

I'm not just some trollop you can pick up and put down at your whim Ian!

    I'm a man. I need LOVE!

Not turned gay yet, it's bad enough getting "knock backs" from the ladies without even thinking about getting them from a man!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you need LOVE try a dating site and grow up.

  3. Is there not somebody on this very forum who posts under the name pcassist? Perhaps a PM to him and, in the spirit of us all helping each other out, you just never know...

I agree Acer is a good buy have a look at www.acerdirect.co.uk and if you do buy one you can get an extended 3 year warranty for an additional £50.97, also click here for a possible model that might suit you.

PS Forgot to add warranty pack information.

  4. I've just been to get the wifes ticket for today's game and I asked the young lady on the counter "how things we're" to be told if this rain keeps we could have a problem playing the match.

I can't confirm if there is to be a pitch inspection, but thought I should let your all know what has been said.

Don't shoot me down but it could be Rochdale all over again.

  5. Right folks. I had my meal there tonight and I can say its bloody good stuff. So much so I felt guilty taking the 50% off. So left a decent tip. Give ths guy your backing, he's a tic and a good sort too. Just as an aside, Gerry left around 1.00am Friday morning leathered!!

Went to the Milan Bar in Lees for a meal tonight.

Lags, you we're absolutely correct – brilliant.

Great food, good service and a really nice atmosphere.

I bumped into AH in the restaurant who was celebrating becoming a grandad for the 1st time, also Alan my thoughts are with you for 21st good luck and I hope everything's OK.

Could only suggest if you're looking for a nice night out that's not too expensive, try it.

  6. :gossip: Just been to swop my Rochdale tickets and seen Warren Feeney limping back from what appears the hospital in a lot of pain :stretcher: he was being helped by the physio and a lady that works at Latics (sorry don't know either of them by name).

Didn't look very good for the lad, but he hasn't set the world on fire for us at present so let's hope it's not to bad and he quickly recovers and starts banging them in.

  7. How did we play Jacko? Any good performers?

Jacobson was "Man Of The Match" by a long way, the trialist centre half Julian Cherel also looked and played the part, good in the air and liked to get forward. Not sure if trialing this lad says the end for Greegs is in site but I have my worries for Gregan and his problems.

Overall a good team performance, but who told Worthington he could play football????????????????

Also saw a Mr Purdie play and he did OK, we we're a bit light weight upfront and played a 1-4-1-4-1 formation with a 5' 2" against Ferdinand and Brown no contest until Ferdinand went off and Jacobson scored a blinder.

United's second by Fredirico Macheda was a 30 yard stunner.

  8. I just received a text from a friend who knows someone who works in the directors lounge and it goes as follows "Just spoke to ....... who works in the directors lounge. Lee Hughes went finding Alan Hardy after the match and gripped him by the throat threatening him! Corney is going mad, they've had to bring the police in"

Like I say its a rumour and I don't know why he has supposedly gone after him. Mods feel free to remove if deemed inappropiate!

Just heard the same rumour, told it was because Hughes wife (?) wasn't given free tickets for the match and had to pay to get in.

I was told it started in the tunnell after the game :ranting: .
