It depends on how the first team play ... currently AAH will hold it,  look for support and pass or hold and turn. The build up often isnt pretty. The youth team dont play like that therefore the learning curve is bigger. You have to adapt to a changr in formation, position and plan. Thats the reason they look weak and sometimes small (never stopped Jermaine Defoe like). Personally I think Glakin would do ok next to AAH .... I would also consider that now would probably not be the best time to blood him in. If we are safe with two remaining by all means.

Do us a favour and play Vale off the park and beat them by a cricket score !!!!!

I like the new functions ...

Goram - I remember his name being sung with such passion at every home game. Fearless and his distrabution was class. He is still No 1, but his game involved backpassing and rules were so much easier when the keeper could pick it up.

Gorton - I have to, if the No1 was ever missing ... you really couldnt tell. It is such a shame we never got to see his full potential.

Ripley - On the back of so few games, I wish he was ours.

whilst I agree Clarke was immense as was Wilson, Riply will and should win it because had the 2nd pen gone in the morlae could have been damaged and we would be a draw away from re entering the relegation zone again. To save a penalty in time added at the end of 90mins is a great achievement ... to do it twice in the same period of added time is just brilliant.... for the morale, for the fans and for the club.

I reckon theres a pre season frienldy to be had here .... Be good to see the team coached by him play against the team created by him.

Had osei been replaced by croft at around 55 mins he would have done well.. as it was he wasn't. We matched them for around an hour... Had we have taken one of our first half chances it could have been different.. o am under no illusions that they didn't really turn up first half and we did.

The 3-3 was pretty good two goals behind twice at 0-2 and 1-3 and we still clawed it back and sharp put a sitter of a header wide late on.
