  1. she didnt ignore it. she looked right at the person, laughed nervously, glanced around the room and had that 'i wish there was a hole i could jump in' look. tta will be paying them money, they havent started off like they are going to earn it.
  2. youre right its not worth it. them old rusty turnstiles in the chaddy are easily doctored, and we are no different from most other clubs. wont stop me going to 30+ games a season tho and arguing with all the negativity and supporting the lads, even colbeck.
  3. auto monitored lol. about as reliable as milometers in an old lada.
  4. im expecting a crowd of 9500+. with an official announcement of 8231
  5. i reckon it will be pretty hard to find a seat. but then my optimism does tend to annoy my freinds at times!
  6. oh yeah i forgot to say that the PR company are pretty :censored:. at one point she said 'if this doesnt work we might aswell pack it all in' so someone said 'yeah, thats what we want' the PR womans response? she laughed and looked stumped. the presentation was also pretty similar to the one she gave when working for the fa in consultation with failsworth dynamos.
  7. taylor is the softest ginger in history. science proves that gingers, on the whole, have a higher pain threshold than most. the highest being ginger females. chris obviously broke the mould.
  8. i can assure you i am not. i just come from the school that every little 0.1% counts, thats all. i also like to speculate on hypothetical scenarios, feel free to ignore it.
  9. diego seems to be loving the fact that the chaddy end is going to be full, which makes me smile. think there may be some fisticuffs in there tonight tho.
  10. probably for the best if i keep quiet on this front
  11. thats the impression im also getting. i reckon the only concession is going to be a much improved memorial park, which is no bad thing. but other than that almost everyone will have at least a tinge of disapointment.
  12. i am of the opinion that if this would have happened at the start of tta's reign, they (or rather the freshly appointed jarvis chap) would have used the £85000 positively, in a way that could maybe help us progress, rather than just snaffling it. like i said though, i understand why they did it. its for the same reasons that the new ground wont be a £60m super arena with loads of great facilities.
  13. warren bates is a local self appointed scum buster. he stands for the greens at elections and i usually vote for him.
  14. there was one new thing. corney said the ground will hold 'eleven or ten thousand' he also said that he wanted to build one of 'eighteen or sixteen thousand' and that this shoebox is 'too small for us' and was designed with the residents in mind. im hoping he was just trying to placate them, still not 100% if i back the shoebox, no way ill be backing a trinket.
  15. i am of the opinion that when the leeds game got an £85000 payout, the prices should have been reduced. now i think if the ground was full and it spurred on the players, we might have been picking up nigh on a cool £million for an away day at old trafford. gutted. that said i understand why tta didnt do it, because all that matters to them now is the money.
  16. other than the afforementioned culture. going to football on a saturday afternoon is not what asians do, end of.
  17. either that or he ticked the wrong age on the form, no idea why that could happen
  18. lol. imagine my dilema, i live in failsworth and support a new stadium in principle. but i think its too small, i hear constant gripings that (some of) the land is not the councils to sell and my son plays for dynamos! i think it only right that i attend
  19. i will be attending the meetings. i think i support the new ground, not 100% yet though..
  20. “We don’t want fans there, just the residents of Failsworth. i dont see a problem with this
  21. unfortunatley, i think we still pay the price for that prick even now. people who dont support the club, even those right on its doorstep, are naturally hostile to the club as a matter of what is probably now a principle.
  22. brill isnt worse than chris day. although thats hardly a ringing endorsement.
