  1. yeah and why do people have a glass of wine after work, and why do people continue to eat fast food and ready meals? morons, shortening their lives dont they know.
  2. football on monday. the earlier i start the earlier ill fall asleep therefore more recovery time!!!
  3. ive decided my no beer til 12.30 idea was highly homosexual and has been abandoned
  4. abbott song does have words, just that 90% of the mongs in the ground dont realise it and nar nar nar all over it
  5. id say that 90% of people singing it dont even know that there are supposed to be words to it
  6. thank you. in the breakaway football league that i invented which has no clubs in it, VAT payments would be strictly monitered. so now we have four rules (on top of existing game regulations) pay vat on time backpass rule outlawed, but minimum of three teammates must touch the ball before keeper can pick up again or ball must cross halfway line handball is handball at least 10% of ground must be standing
  7. i havent read all of this thoroughly, but another thing ive thought of is all ticket games. the police like to enforce all ticket on us whenever theres a sniff of a full house, and our fans seem not to like this and dont bother going. ive even done it myself several times as i didnt know until the day of the game whether i could go. if we had a 16000 ground this is less likely to happen than in a 12000 ground, so i reckon we will suffer financially when we play big games. the more i think on 12000 the less and less i like it.
  8. i dont get this atall, if 90% of clubs including us dont make a profit, why do we have a tax bill? im going to decide that you have to pay hmrc even if you dont make a profit
  9. is that true? i didnt think any football club made a profit, except the obvious few
  10. well he hasnt said it anyway, and he said the other day about 'being in the shop window' suppose at least hes honest!! with jacobson not looking like a comeback anytime soon, id try and get sheehan until at least january. hope dp thinks the same.
  11. i know he did because when i first mooted that gregan wasnt the man he was, bb80 was in there with yourself refusing to accept it. what do you want bb80 to say? do you want him to actually say 'i was wrong about hazell'? for me, changing his opinion, along with an acknowldgement of it is enough. ive said many times, i loved gregan when he was on loan. but his lack of effort once his deal was sealed, turned it to hate. i acknowledge when he plays well, and hes done that in half the games this season, and the big games last season. its just not enough.
  12. i reckon thats pretty much spot on. yes, they wouldnt have purchased the club without the land, but i dont think it was a solely land based venture.
  13. at the risk of sounding all corporal jones-esque, reading that on the fish site it again says 'self sufficency'. now, we were always told that this would be helped by a hotel possibly with a casino, key worker housing, office rentals, conference suites and maybe housing rentals. as these lines of profit are not implemented into the new scheme, i would like to know where the self suffiency comes from? has it been said by anyone at the club? otherwise this self suffiency can clearly not be at a level required for promotion(s) up the football league ladder.
  14. well actually he used to defend gregan to the skies too, then he saw the light. his 'backtracking' on hazell says to me that he has the ability to constantly revise his opinions on things through weighing up all available evidence. this is clearly a charactaristic you do not posess. just because your milk was fresh last month, doesnt mean it is fresh this month. things change, you need to put aside your personal feelings when you are evaluating. i understand your love is deeply engrained, but theres a saying about hearts ruling heads and quite a few of you suffer from this.
  15. no. they wouldnt let him in the brothel with his chips, so he kicked a door and hurt his foot.
  16. thought so. chances are slim of him coming back id say, especially after how enthused he was about leaving in the first place.
  17. whether i have or havent, its not what its supposed to be and transport is horrendous. however awe inspiring a 90000 seat venue appear as you first see it, on the whole its not that great. i was a bit harsh in saying 'crap', i meant the whole experience including prices and food and all the like. i suppose if i took the stadium on its own, if i could teleport in and out, with my own food, oblivious to the location and forget what it was supposed to be like, i would say it was 'good'. but i cant, so its not.
  18. he probably could, but he wanted to carry on playing
  19. if there is a recall clause, im a little concerned he isnt already back here.
  20. whats all this about judgement? fleming was told you arent certain to be number one, so he left. if he didnt he would be playing now. he was there on friday so maybe he gave penney a nudge, not sure if he has a recall clause tho..?
