Can't wait to see this thread after the fans have spotted potential managers in the crowd at the Preston game. I expect it will take me all day to read it. SC has had plenty of experience interviewing managers, and I hope he does the interviewing face to face rather than leave it to someone else. He does go the cheaper route. However, in my opinion LJ was an improvement over Dickov, so maybe he can select a manager that is an improvement over the last one. Good Luck Simon.

Although listening/reading from afar, I get the impression J Wilson is a good player but is a confidence player, and the defence suffers because of this shaky confidence at times (i.e. conceding 2 goals in the first 15 minutes). At the end of last year he had Lockwood as a partner, who through his leadership gave J Wilson confidence (?). Resulting in a good defensive record. Now Lockwood may not be around next season, but for this season what about putting Lockwood back in (when fit). Like I say this is from afar, but does anyone think a fit Lockwood could be the answer?

Thanks 24, but I think it is too early for punters to be playing for second place. I am in a bit of a purple patch at the moment, but I am realistic enough to know that it will not last.
