Pure genius this one.
Lithium Sulphate.
JP, despite his exit from the Country still suffers from Oldham induced Manic Depression and therefore just in case he had one of his episodes he took his shoelaces with him so if an emergency topping was required they'd be handy. This he put inside his bottle of medication so he'd remember where they were - which just happens to be lithium sulphate.
My thoughts exactly

excellent point today, and results went for us as well,so hopefully we havent fallen too far away from it all.just makes saturdays result even more frustrating.
Yup - a win on Saturday and today and we would have been sixth...

Get = Disappointment
Want = Width
basics

Crossley, Pogliacomi, Gregan, Livermore, Allott, Liddell, Alessandra, Davies, Hughes - Thompson (bench yesterday), Jarret (played for 33 minutes), PLUS Kilkenny, Bertrand - an injury list to rival most I think.
So where was Lewis yesterday? How long is Allot out for? And when will Hughes and Davies return? Anyone know?
It may be too late for the play-offs I feel but it would be good to get some of them back and playing before the end of the season huh?

Absolutely spot on. Something which appears to be missed entirely until now.
Just as the similarly "Man-Management-Challeged" Ronnie Moore did with Chris Taylor after his outstanding League debut.
Personally, I know where Terry is coming from and I agree with him on the rollickings issue particularly where it is simply a case of "stating the bleeding obvious". The thread would have been seen in an entirely different light had we lost. That said, the criticism aimed at Shez in view of not congratulating Lewis until prompted is misplaced.
Sheridan showed by subbing Lewis just what he thought of his excellent performance (giving the chance for the fans to give a standing ovation to him personally) and then showed professionalism by concentrating on the remainder of the match as opposed to a bit of unnecessary glad-handing.
Too right - btw what is 'glad-handing'?

[/size] Horrible, horrible place. Agreed, possibly one of the rankest places in England.
Can't wait to see the loo roll on sale in the street again.
Great Fans at Luton - similar to the decent Latics mob - Bedfordshire Yeoman before the game I think
-
Interesting statistic in the programme on Saturday. Comparison of the last two seasons (Shez at BP versus Ronnie at PP):
Shez PLAYED 81 WON 34 DRAWN 23 LOST 24 FOR 111 AGAINST 79
Ronnie PLAYED 82 WON 32 DRAWN 23 LOST 27 FOR 98 AGAINST 88
Not bad for fledgling Manager huh?

I agree 100% - from now on it's going to be positive support - even if we miss out on the play-offs

Great news!
Dont think we'l ever be seeing 'Wolfy' again now.
I think that Wolfy is getting better and better - expect him to feature as a sub this season -then outon loan to Rochdale next beforemaking his breakthrough - as for Constantine not sure
-
Looks like we will have a new loanee for tonight's game - any ideas?

though for a troll working in macdonalds, your response is very
were have i stated no one is allowed an opinion ?
why have you decided to jump down my throat when i posted an opinion...oh dear-but its not to your liking...
why contadict yourself...AGAIN!
jog on...and grow up .
sad indeed.
Obviously I have touched a nerve with you Johnny - by now you have probably reread your original post and realized that perhaps it was a little lame - you jumped to criticize some for daring to post a suggestion on a forum - not claiming to know better than Shez, merely suggesting an alternative. You then used a lame and frankly derogatory comment about working in McDonalds.
We all have opinions and we are all entitled to our own - shame that your's is so lame - ah well - keep on jogging and jogging - probably on your own...
-
so MY opinion isn't allowed either..oh...contradicting your own post there i see!
as for your insults..ouch!!! hurt..i'm so feckin hurt.
mnnna mnnna!
maybe you DO work in macdonalds and took it personal !!!!!
jog on.
HA! You thought you had me there for a minute Johnny - but you see I didn't say that you were not allowed an opinion just that your world must be a sad place if no-one was allowed an opinion. You see - in my world you are allowed an opinion - in fact the more the merrier.
So mnnna mnnna too!
I am jogging though a little out of breath..
-
love all these "I KNOW BETTER THAN SHEZ" opinionated types.
its as if he hasn't a clue about football to some!
would he come to you lot and tell you how to serve a big mac?
Hey Johnny - I think that you live in a sad world where no one is allowed an opinion or is allowed to even suggest an option for an alternative formation. No-one is claiming to know better than Shez merely posting a thought or two on a forum that is designed for exactly that purpose. You sad muppet..

I thought Jarret had a good game, hes a massive presence in the centre of midfield and nobody can get the ball off him because hes so strong. Once he gets his fitness up he'll be immense.
livermore and taylor could be a handy partnership down the left hand side if livermore does more of the overlap kind of stuff and gets to the by-line.
i trust shez.
You must have watched a different game to me - Jarrett was woeful yesterday - his passing for 70% of the time he was on the pitch was abysmal - he constantly gave the ball away and only late on did he seem to catch up withthe game.
Anyone else believe that he is carrying a niggling injuryand that is what iseffecting his play?
-
Alessandra needs to score
-
Having seen the lads at Brizzle on Tuesday and at home today, I think a slight change would improve effectiveness going forward:
Lomax in at Left Back
Livermore Left Wing
Taylor Right Wing
Jarrett rested...
-
Allott was my MOM today too. JJ on the other hand was probably our worst player today. He must have passed to a green shirt 70% of the time. Saying that, he got around and put in some good challenges, just wasn't the best on the ball. Can't complain too much though with that result!
Got to agree with that - Allott was MOM today with Eardley (yes) not far behind. Alessandra needs a goal and he will come on a storm I reckon. As for Jarrett - he had a 'mare today and I really think he looks like he is carrying an injury as wellas not being match fit.
Good to win comfortably though - make the long drive back a much nicer experience
-
Good win from behind
Team showed good character
Davies orange boots poor
Davies black boots better
Alessandra get some studs
Some fans stop moaning
Get behind your team
On fringe of playoffs
Get something at Bristol
Do we dare believe?
-
oooohhhhhhhhhhhh look at you posh boy
I'll be there but am waiting to hear if I have a complimentary - if so I'll stand or sit for free!
-
I read somewhere that from this Thursday Football League clubs can take on loan players for up to a maximum of three months - does anyone know if this can be extended should a club reach the play-offs?
-
Oh I agree entirely. This division is about his level, because any higher and induvidual mistakes usually get punished. He's not a bad defender by any stretch, an ace squad player but worries me a bit if he's in every game.
Stam - decent player - ocassionally does get caught out of position and does not posess blistering pace - but he has played well alongside Gregan, alongside Trotman and latterly alongside Hazell - the question for me is who would be the first choice centreback pairing when both Gregan and Thompson are fully fit?
Gregan and Stam for me - Hazell as first choice cover
and finally- To sell Trotman was a mistake in my opinion but then again the way Trotman has been viewed by Shez mystifys me (only brought in when he was absolutely forced to and then to only hand the guy a short term contract )
-
I would look at clubs like Walsall, Leyton Orient, Trampmere from a locationperspective - edge of big cities, always having to live withthepull of the bigger clus etc.
But from a spirit and culture? Definitely Luton for me too - and they have a decent set of fans, good crack in the pub before the game when we are down there.
