I've always tried to give the bloke the benefit of the doubt like I would with anyone I have never met and assumed he must bring something to the party. I'll still assume he does but after five minutes of that interview I was no longer in any doubt that there is no way he should be anywhere near the boardroom. He accepted being left completely in the dark and any director in that position simply has to make a principled stand, not least for their own protection.

Well he was nowt special then. At best mid table League One contrary to some of the claims of impending greatness that have followed him around.

Hardly. Less than a full season. I'm just generally interested in Ryan's view. He obviously thinks there is no big attitude problem - he may be right, I don't know - so what is the issue that has seen him fail to build any sort of decent career?
