Expected to sign elsewhere shortly according to MEN. So long.

Johnson said 99.9% of the songs were good in his Latics Player - was he not too impressed with the Baxter stuff either?
It's our club, not his. He's not paid to worry about what we chant.

Worst refereeing moment: None stick in the mind
Worst team performance: Still trying to erase the memory of Colchester
Most irritating manager: Paul Dickov

All round top Latic: Tony Philliskirk -
Firstly, what idiot can't even chop the start of a video clip off but Christ Gordon, JCH is in front of you!
Secondly, he comes across as think as pig :censored:, which he probably is, but I really think he has some proper passion not just for football but for Oldham.
I look forward to watching him develop.
Cheers for that Mr Hawking.

Really? Does it matter?

We need to improve our league form. It's all well and good doing well in the cups but once we are out of the fa cup our season is over.
I wish I shared your optimism for a comfortable, mid-table season.
-
I've now got my ticket.
Lying bastard. I've got it.
-
I think he'll come good.
He wins a great ratio of headers and flick-ons, but it shouldn't be him having to do that.
You must have watched a different game to me yesterday.
-
Never argue with an idiot. He'll just drag you down to his level and beat you on experience. Hmm I think I'll just take my own advice and sleep on it
This one's a cliff hanger. Tune in tomorrow for more, folks.

We used to be alright
But now we're just :censored:e
Walking in a Johnson wonderland
Things we may hear when people have had a few too many and Suarez scores his 6th….
"F£$%^&g Dickov did better than this, Johnson"
"Even that @£$% Talbot managed to beat City"

Too complex for me.
I've sent it over to Bletchley Park to see what they make of it.
Edward Snowden just called to say he's struggling with it too.
-
Plus this new character Plummer adding a comical element and someone threatening a cull. All the makings of a thriller.
-
Beats Emmerdale hands down this. Keep it coming.
I need to be up early, but not sleeping until I can read this war of words.

We scored 4 but only 1 from open play.......Philliskirk and JCH are more than capable of creating scoring opportunities for themselves, however Rooney is not, he's had more than enough time to improve but I think he is pretty poor to be honest. He is slow, cumbersome, poor in the air and most of the time his first touch is bloody woeful.
He must be on a fair wedge here, and is probably our best paid player. I would try to get shut in January and use the money to strengthen the squad, however clubs will not exactly be queuing up for his services and I fear he will be here for the duration of his contract.
If we had brought in Leon Clarke instead of Rooney I think we could well have been up around the playoffs by now!
Not sure who's worse. Me for writing it or you for quoting it!

besides oxley and lanzoni, the whole team can go on that list - didn't see why Winchester was subbed tho??
Because at 0-2 the manager needs to be seen as doing something??
-
so out of 11 players who played god awful today, you have chosen a young lad breaking into the game and didn't play well but wasn't our worst player by a long stretch... tarky, smith, rooney, Plummer were all worse - even tarky admitted to being :censored: today
Why choose to name just those out of the 11? Bit harsh.
-
at the time we were handing out two year deals I thought great a new approach, now I'm thinking how do we get some of these off the books.
from the final whistle at an field i,ll be wondering what's left of the season for us. having said that I,ll be at port ale on the 18th of jan come what may, supporting oldham is like a bird who cheats on you every week but you keep having her back
"Port Ale" sort of sums up where I'll be then too.
-
Oh bloody hell
-
It's a squad game, you would expect another 5 from a big playing staff could step in and do an adequate job, which is clearly not the case at present.
Do we have the resources to allow the manager to do that? Is it poor squad building or is it just the way it is and we have to accept it and hope we can pick up the odd point until we get them back?
-
Hardly comparable, I know, but I used to train twice a week followed by games on both Saturday and Sunday.
You're right. Crown green bowls is hardly comparable.

Take 5 players out if any team at this level and they'd suffer. Discuss.
-
I did wonder how, after Philliskirk's peach of a corner on Tuesday, Mellor took everyone today
What he said.
-
I do apologise. Question retracted. Thanks for the heads up.
Lanzoni.

Lanzoni has managed to make it to 25 already. I applaud his longevity.
