    Bet365 said they would show it live but after I registered they said I couldn't watch it as I am in USA...

     

    I tried First Row on my iphone (I was at work) and it started doing all kinds of weird :censored: after I clicked on "play" so I stopped everything and turned my phone off! Hopefully no damage was done but who knows?

    Just read the article - a very good read. College (American) Football is huge here in Washington state. A lot of people prefer it over NFL (as mentioned in the article). When they play their local derby UW v. Washington State University (WSU) a lot of people wear there colours to work on the Friday before the match. I've been to a couple of games at the University of Washington (UW) with attendances of over 70,000 in their own stadium. When the Seattle Seahawks were having a new stadium built they used the UW stadium as a temporary home. The colleges have their own basketball, baseball and football teams but none of those college sports are as popular as American football.

    I've never had the signal problem either. I'm not suggesting it's a big anti-publicity scam by nokia but I just can't get it to happen! I see what u mean about £500. When u weigh up what ur paying over the timespan of a contract it does appear high.

    I've had a case since day one. U can get sone really nice ones off eBay for less than a fiver with free delivery so I change mine from time to time.

    What does annoy me is the auto correct when typing. It works so seamlessly u dont actually notice it's doing it until u read ur posts/texts back. Hence why most of mine are edited! U wouldn't believe the amount of times I've had to backspace and retype in this post alone! Bigger space bar on the keyboard would be handy too.

     

    I'm getting to this late and don't want to go through all the pages but surely somebody has pointed out that you can switch auto correct off...?

    but they still play in MLS league dont they? Home games in Canada but most away in U.S. i guess

    Yes, Toronto play in the MLS. Vancouver Whitecaps joined this season as well.

     

    It's a bit like Major League Baseball - it has Canadian teams in it and that's why they call the final the World Series... :wink:

    In December I went to Madison Square Garden to watch an ice hockey match. Halfway up the stairs to the press box I spotted a bloke in the crowd wearing a Latics cap. I congratulated him on his choice of headwear. He stared back blankly. I told him I was from Oldham and a Latics fan. He stared back blankly. In the end I just walked off.

     

    He was probably part of one our sleeper cells and didn't want to be identified... :lol:

     

    We're all over the US. I took my Oldham flag to the England-US match in Chicago in 2005 (I think). I got some friendly banter from City fans as that was the year we beat them in the FA Cup.
