    http://thesaintsfc.proboards.com/index.cgi...&post=53591 -

The user pahars was called ibby786. RA and Pahars have the same D.O.B. Pahars registered 20 odds days on there before RA registered on here.

    Weird.

Nah it's bollocks mate... ...it's "Deja vu" - two words not three.

Good bit of detective work there - the writing style is exactly the same.

  2. Yeah, ideally you want to let the battery reach the point where the phone turns off for the first 3/4 charges and then also do this as often as you can from then on. It's true of all batteries.

Ok, I'll try and do that! I'm a bit of a "glass half empty so it needs filling up" kind of person...

    Cheers Ste.

  3. Got my iPhone 4 yesterday (with promise of free "bumper" when they have some in stock!). I must be a fanboy cos I love it - miles faster than my 3G...

I've read that it's good to let the battery drain before the first re-charge. If true, should I let it drain all the way down?

    Cheers.

  4. Oh. My. God.

It's almost impossible to talk about without spoilers, but if you were in any doubt as to if you should see this or not then go. Go now.

AGREE 1000%!!! Watched it last night on IMAX.

Bleeping amazing! (and that's swearing for you!)

  5. Has Andy Butler signed for us? I havent been keeping much track on tics recently but saw in Saturdays Rochdale Observer that dale were beaten to Andy Butlers signature by us?

Can't see him being any good - he's in his early 40s now isn't he? He wasn't that great when I played against him when we were growing up... Oh, you're talking about a different Andy Butler...

  6. OK since it starts tomorrow and as I don't think I'm the only one on here interested I thought I'd start a Tour de France thread

1.) Is anyone going to beat Contador? Personally I doubt it

2.) Will Wiggins get on to the podium? I'd like to think so but can't see it happening, but he's a top 10 contender for sure.

3.) Will Cav get the green jersey (at the finish)? I think this is definately possible, since he is still the best sprinter and he's actually going for it this time

4.) Any other surprises? I don't know why but I fancy Charlie Wegalius to do something, either be in a successful breakaway or challenge for the polka-dot jersey.

Is it true all the participants take drugs and it's just a matter of who gets caught?

We lived in France when Lance Armsrong was dominating the Tour and the French just dismissed his success as "performance-enhanced"... Typical of the francais...

  7. As for the England squad - Those that played in the 4 games with the exception of Milner should never wear the shirt again. Look at what the Germans have done - young hungry players are the way forward.

Agree with most of what you wrote but then I had a flash back / deja vu moment - isn't the above highlighted phrase what a certain Mr. Penney said about a year ago?!?

  8. BREAKING NEWS!

    http://www.periscopepost.com/2010/06/footb...errard-rumours/

A tipster has alerted The Periscope Post to some rather salacious rumours about England footballer Steven Gerrard, that may help explain the England team’s appalling performance at the 2010 Football World Cup. Indeed, even some cursory investigation suggests that The Periscope Post is not the only news organization that’s heard the rumours.

The bottom line is that there has been speculation about whether footballer Gerrard may have engaged in an affair with, and made pregnant, his wife’s sister. This news, so the rumour goes, was known to the rest of the England team throughout their time in South Africa. Half the team supported Gerrard and the other half turned against him in disgust. To make matters worse, the incident apparently prompted John Terry to confront coach Capello for not removing Gerrard from the Captaincy. Shortly before the start of the World Cup, Terry had been stripped of his title as England Captain following revelations about his own indiscretions.

All this apparently led to considerable tension among the players and in particular between Terry and Gerrard. So are these rumours just desperate attempts to explain the England football team’s early exit from the World Cup, or is there some basis for the allegations? All comments, leads, clarifications welcomed here at The Periscope Post either through the comments field or through our anonymous

  9. Thanks all for the comments. I forgot to say I have a 3G iPhone at the moment so it's a "double upgrade" for me.

Ackey, Re: :titanic: I thought there'd be a thread about this but I only looked as far as this forum, not the Techie one.

  10.

German police are investigating the stoning of a Jewish dance group trying to perform on the street in the city of Hanover.

Youths reportedly shouted "Juden Raus" (Jews Out) as they attacked the dancers of the Chaverim ("Friends" in Hebrew) dance troupe last weekend.

Police said several Muslim immigrant youths were among the attackers and two youths were being questioned.

A German Jewish leader said she feared growing anti-Israeli sentiment.

    'So awful'

The group was trying to perform in Hanover's Sahlkamp district, which has a large immigrant community.

One of the dancers was injured in the leg and the troupe cancelled the performance after the attack.

Police said one German suspect aged 14 and a 19-year-old of North African origin were being questioned.

Alla Volodarska, of the Progressive Jewish community of Hanover, told Associated Press news agency she had spoken to the dancers involved.

"What happened is just so awful. The teenagers started throwing stones the moment our dance group was announced, even before they started dancing."

Charlotte Knobloch, president of the Central Council of Jews in Germany, told the Die Welt newspaper that anti-Semitic feelings were widespread in both far-right and Muslim communities in the country.

"It particularly saddens me that those anti-Semitic views can already be seen with such vehemence among children and youths," she said.

  11. True, but the imperialist Yankee pig-dogs didn;t know that, they just thought that they had won something. I don't think it matters much anyway, we could just as easily get beaten by South Korea as Spain on form shown to date, just have to hope we are coming into some form. Pretty much every major side has had a dreadfull game already.

Agree with this and the other post you wrote about the Yanks. They really are the worst glory-hunters in the world. They don't give a shiite about "soccer" but if they win a match they publish article after article about it. The comments I've had at work leave me speechless.

As others have said, one goal would have been enough to put us in the "easier" section of the knockout stages. I was fuming when Cappello replaced Rooney with Joe Cole. Thought Crouch would've been a better choice..

For me, it's damage limitation now as far as England and the US are concerned. And that means we have to progress as far as they do...

    Come on Ghana!

  12. What bothers me is the Yanks if not else are quick, strong and a threat from set-pieces - our weakness has been from set-pieces so that's a worry. Another problem we have is when teams run at as with pace and power, often we ball watch - that's not unique to the class of 2010 that goes back to as long as I can remember, Maradona in '86, Ekeke '90, Romania '98, Brazil '02 etc...

The Yanks are no longer a push over, they beat Australia 3-1 the other night a team i'm picking to finish behind the Krauts who we could possibly be playing in round 2. If we go in with the right attitude we should be ok, BUT we are notoriously slow starters in tournaments!

    86 L v Portugal 0-1

    88 L v Ireland 0-1

    90 D v Ireland 1-1

    92 D v Denmark 0-0

    96 D v Switzerland 1-1

    98 W v Tunisia 2-0

    00 L (after being 2-0 up!!!) 2-3 v Portugal

    02 D 1-1 v Sweden

04 L (after leading with seconds remaining!) 1-2 v France

    06 W 1-0 v Paraguay

Agree with all of this... I keep telling everyone here the same - we are notoriously slow-starters... If we don't win I'll never hear the end of it here... :disappointed:

    Come on England!

  13. If this is a serious post and not a fishing attempt, you may want to look it up on the net but its definately not suitable for work and don't let any significant others catch you- i'm sure a search for Georgian Oldham will work.

I, too, did not know what The Georgian was so I took your advice and here is what I found in Google:

"We love languages at Listen & Learn. Our native Georgian teachers based in Oldham will come and teach you at home or at work. All levels."

    www.listenandlearn.org/georgian/oldham/

Seems innocent enough to me...
