Hughes is not one of the top earners at the Club , was this not made public when he signed ? or am I going mad again ?

Basically I dont think we can bring in a Striker of his calibre for what we are paying him.

He is by far the best FOOTBALLER we have had since David Eyres,there is no substitute for class and its as simple as that.

All this negativity towards him beggers belief,I admit he is not brightest of lads but he is light years ahead as a Footballer from certain fans favourites of the last few years.

In his interview he comes across as a Chirpy sort of Lad,a similiar sort of Character to Warney perhaps, but with a good bit more talent.

I remember him - he was rapid. Think he later played for Blackburn.

We had the Scumbag known as Mark Patterson to thank for that one,took him into the stand.

Funny Club Hudders,they looked to be getting themselves well organised when they played us the other week,albeit a tad on the Ugly side (As you would expect with Ternent).

Remember they sacked his mate Colin after he got them promoted,must use Herbert Chapman as the Benchmark when setting the targets for new Managers!

My Eight Year old Daughter started a few Songs off (Broadway Side of the Chaddy), in particular "Doo,Doo,Doo,Lewis Allesandra" although I did see a few confused looks when she started to Chant "Barak OBama" thanks to her Big Brother telling her he was on the wing and that our number nine was Andy Ritchie!

Lad at work has 2 spare for week tomorrow, selling at Face Value.

Do these schools know you go into them and "pretend" to teach these kids???

Had a Good Chat with Paddy around 5pm tonight about Lewi, I compared him to Frankie Bunn,Paddy compared him to Robbie Keane but in his words "He looks like he is never going to score" which I had to agree with but also agreed he is worth his place!

Tremendous when your own players can prove you wrong on the odd thing or two,Will save us hell of a lot of money in the long run.

Great win, and perhaps we should look at every match as a challenge.

To be fair to Leeds in all the time they have played us (Last 23 years on and off) they have caused very little trouble.

The Hudders tie seems to bring their Morons over the Hill,just like when we play at their place in reality.

I thought it would have been for barging the keeper but it looked like the Ref was signalling that it was for deliberate handball. Unless of course he's in the Masons and it was some sort of secret sign.

We sit at the front of the top half of the Chaddy,Broadway side,definately Handball.

First half reminded me of Premiership game were both sides Phased each other out,Howard is a top Striker like Hughes and we was lucky he didnt score on two occasions before he did actually score.

We will be missing Sean Gregan for this game and possibly Hughes and while accepting that these 2 are the in the top 3 players in the division

Anybody remember Hereford beating us 5-2 at home when the was relegated after one season in the old second division (mid Seventies)?

Shez should have taken Hughes off after 60 minutes last week,he is running him into the ground and that will cause serious long term problems if he is not carefull.

Brings back memories of Clyde Whinjard,who,if he had played a full season,would have taken us up automatically,with a little help from a bloody good set of team mates that is!

Nick Henry was a down to earh lad,lodged in Royton when he first signed on and became good Mates with a lot of Royton Lads.

Nicky Banger was fined for hitting my mates Pregnant wifes Car side on when he was speeding,luckily Mum and Baby Ok in the long run,didnt endear himself to us at the time,plus the fact he was a poor to average player didnt help.

He has also been quoted as saying, when he stops playing, he will probably be going to United to watch them.

As well as watching his beloved blues,lets face it how often do they play at the same time as us?
