Dickinson played wide left/right on the bibs team training match today. Another wide player called "Bez" as well - don't know who he could be.
Could be Lubala ex Blackpool, Crawley.
Just noticed Lubala ended up at Burton with Dino, scored 2 yesterday.

Green was horrendous but I’m not allowed to say that on here am I?
Yes, don't mind him as squad/impact sub but we need better if we're going to go up.(same on the left)(and a right back/RWB).

More than happy with Mellon. Hopefully our fans take to him quicker than they did Unsy.
Hope he can hit the ground running and win tomorrow (if appointed) and next week. We could quite easily lose both so fingers crossed it's the the former.

Whether we like it or not, Barry Owen is still well connected at the club. Scary really...
Has he chained himself to one of the fire doors in the Joe Royle Stand?

He really needs to let it go he had his chance he failed at pretty much everything. These embittered probably wine induced rants aren't going to change that he will forever be remembered as a failed director of Oldham Athletic. That ain't washing off.
Isn't that another Malpas account?

Think I heard Chesterfield fans singing "You're just a small town in Oldham!" at Spotland the other night.
Thought Dale played pretty well against Chesterfield - quick wingers might cause us problems. Hopefully win every game before then and go there well up for it .

You mean on non match days?
If so, what about visits to club shop?
Didn't ask that but I'm sure they won't charge if you're going to the shop! It's a good money making idea if hospital visitors pay or the club gets some money from the hospital for the permit holders.
N.B. yes non match days.

Started charging £5 to park on the main car park unless you've got an NHS permit or a gym membership.

I'm under the impression that Thompson doesn't want the gig, but I hope whoever gets it (Mellon) decides to keep him on in some capacity...
"The Board wants to ensure the process is thorough and that the merits of all candidates are properly considered."
That seems like a waste of time if they then appoint Mellon! (Unless he interviews really well!!!).

I think Mcfluff is trying to say some people seem to always have to find negatives.....
Here's my negative take on the game .
Started the game well but after scoring we reverted to backing off to the edge of the area and letting York pass it around nicely (without threatening too much). Hobson and Hogan were superb but would still like to see Raglan alongside Hobson.
Sheron did the running for the entire midfield so fitness very much an issue. Would prefer Nuttall to get in the box more rather than go wide or drop deep. Still need a right back or wing back, Willoughby did well for the first goal and Reid did well for the second but Norwood has to start. We're not far off being good enough to go on a winning run .

Spot on. And while I don’t always find myself agreeing with your posts, that’s also one of the funniest things I’ve read on here, I couldn’t stop laughing at the image of a balaclava-wearing manager in the dugout!
Darren Kelly was close (allegedly).

With a game fast approaching what would be the starting 11.
I’ll start off with Reid starting..
Rather give Willoughby a go alongside Norwood.

We have an abundance of quality in both defence and attack. We have a void in quality in the centre of the park. Make of that what you will.Correct, unlucky with Lundstram and Ward but right back also remains a problem and not finding the right partnerships at centre back and up front has cost us.

A good recruitment process is required IMO. Think they will go for Mellon...
Suppose it's worth it to see who applies but you really should have targets who you want for the job.

I'd be staggered if he's here Tuesday, I think he'll be asked to stay at home whilst Murray or Adams take over temporarily.
Adams is still playing for Radcliffe isn't he so that would rule him out - shame as he has a great attitude and would get a reaction from the players.

Well done to Dave @BPAS for the twitter spaces tonight. Sounded a bit stressed about it but thought it worked really well .

With 5 strikers to choose from is that 10 possible partnerships? Nuttall and Fondop would be 10th choice out of those options. Sack him tonight!

Funds to sack Unsy ?
Only joking will be for the little Wembley development, but can’t wait for the piss boil about this loan.
Yes there'll be a post about this shortly from you know who!

The Unsworth family told me last year in the boxes against Chester that he had been promised he would have until the end of this season at least, but I'm extremely concerned that they haven't pulled the trigger. There comes a point where blind faith becomes negligent and I don't think we are too far from that right now...
The run of games starting with Dorking needed a minimum of 4 wins out of 6 - now 4 out of 5. He needs wins now or the change has to be made. On the flip side if we do go on a winning streak then we're up and running .
