  1. It's definitely the one I looked out for, especially as it has been such a long time since our last league meeting. It seems a bit more intense than the Bury derby aswell because there seems to be a lot of Oldham fans in Rochdale so there really are bragging rights up for grabs.
  2. Don't know, I'm not the type to really go round predicting wins to be honest. But it is interesting that every time a side has brought a large away following to Spotland they seem to have frozen. Only yourselves have gone away with a win and that was on penalties.
  3. And the FC United game isn't even all ticket so there could be thousands of them in the home ends on Friday night!
  4. Can anyone remember whether it was reserved seating that night? I think there is no chance of letting anyone in tomorrow when it's unreserved seating, it would be chaos.
  5. The highest number of away fans in the last 10 years since the stand was built have been Coventry, Hartlepool and Huddersfield who all brought 3,200. We should be looking at our highest league crowd in 20 years tomorrow night.
  6. You brought 2988 for the league cup match from memory!
  7. All the ground already is all ticket but as you suggest it would be ridiculously easy to buy a ticket in the home end given the distance between the two clubs and towns!
  8. Ahem, we converted him to a striker thankyou very much. We originally signed him as a central midfielder but he quickly formed a lethal partnership with Holt. As for the goalscoring, I might have a quid on O'Grady at 50-1.
  9. I've seen some good strikers over the past few years at Spotland and O'Grady is class. His first touch is immense, he has skill and he certainly knows how to finish. If any Dale fan has actually said they don't think he will cut it in League 1 then unless they think all our players won't cut it they don't know much about football.
  10. I would be gutted if it got moved from the bank holiday Monday to a Tuesday night. It's bad enough that the game at Spotland is a Tuesday night without both of them being night matches. Both our matches with Huddersfield are Tuesday nights aswell.
  11. How would you feel about returning to a club where the manager has this to say about you? Is that really good management?
  12. The team we have at the minute are definitely good enough to get promoted, it all depends on who we sell in January and whether we keep O' Grady or not, he is the only target man in our squad and is crucial to the way we play.
  13. O' Grady has been awesome for us. 8 goals so far and created so many more, if we can't sign him permanantly in January I will be gutted.
  14. Well I was wrong to be unconfident about our chances on Tuesday night, that was a brilliant game! The play offs loom ever closer, surely we can't actually make a balls of it this year? A trip to Wembley would do me, even if we lose. We would only come back down with zero points if we went up anyway!
  15. No need to remind me, I've been watching us long enough to know that! Looks like I've managed one of the longest welcome threads in a long while!
  16. Bit nervous about tonight, can't see us winning 3 home games in a row, Rochdale don't do things like that! Would love to get promoted and have a proper game against you lot!
  17. Name? Jon Fan of? Rochdale How long a supporter? 13 years All time favourite player? Grant Holt. Favourite match v Oldham? Has to be this seasons Rose Bowl, don't really have many options.
