And that is exactly where your world view leads....
What absolute bollocks.
-
So people who don't vote are irrelevant and could not care less? Ignore them then ? So why care about people who vote against you? In fact why not victimise them. ....
I was under the impression that that is what the Tories already do.
-
Some people count more than others? Interesting world view that.
Depends what you class as interesting really.
I think if you have a right to vote and don't exercise that right, then your views on the matter are absolutely irrelevant and should be treated as so. 60% of voters in Islington North voted Labour. The 33% that didn't turn out, well they are irrelevant. They had a chance to vote for what they wanted but couldn't care less.
You might think that view is interesting, I think thats pretty unremarkable in all honesty.

Read the posts pal.
Which ones? I'm genuinely intrigued now cos this "fearful abuse" has completely gone from my memory.

Great chance or a :censored: sandwich, depends on your viewpoint.
Far from blame free, he took some fearful abuse.
Fearful abuse?! At the back end of last season?

Nobody also said that most of the people in London voted Labour. Only that most of the people in parts of London
Perhaps you would like to list the constituencies Dave as that it is not true either...eg Islington North mr Corbyn's seat which he has held for 8 terms in round figures 40 % Corbyn 33% did not vote 27% other. How is that most people vote Labour?
Most of the people that count though vote labour, yeah? In those parts of London he was on about.

He's back at Walsall. Well, that's an end to their promotion push.
And we play them soon too. His record at BP in any position (player, coach or manager) was shocking. If we don't win that then we really are doomed!
-
Yes but the point is that nobody said they did...
Nobody also said that most of the people in London voted Labour. Only that most of the people in parts of London voted Labour.

Interesting blog - it seems most of Oldham wasnt included in the findings
And that the data used for the only just released study is 5 years old.

86’ Main flicks the ball into the path of Thiele to run onto but ends up striking the ball out for a throw in....
Probably the worst shot I have ever seen in professional football. The ball went out of play further back on the pitch than where he struck it from.

I asked the wife which would she prefer: game on and I'm away until 8pm or game off and she get's to spend the day with me...
'Please let it be on' was her response on bended knee ...
She could always send you to the pub?

Is there any reason why we couldn't just play on Sunday if tomorrow is a no go?
-
There's no love in, if Cornell was making the mistakes Coleman is making you would be all over it for days afterwards.
If?! The reason he isn't in the team is because he couldn't stop making mistakes.

Anybody who does not think the last 2 goals we have conceded do not demonstrate the incompetence of our keeper is living in a dream world.....even after the cock up with the cross where was the keeper for the resulting shot. Standing as it passed him at the near post.
Don't take my word for it....watch the goal and concentrate on Gerrard's reaction. Says it all
So we should put Cornell back in then?
-
I think it's his fault, but I don't think it's that bad a mistake really. And certainly nowhere near as bad as the Peterborough mistakes that led to both of our goals.I don't think Coleman made an error for their goal.
When I first saw it I was expecting a Cornell style howler. And then when I saw it my reaction was pretty much "oh, is that it?"
He's not the best keeper around by any stretch, but he's not terrible. A young lad with a lot of potential. Some of the criticism of him is baffling. Especially when you consider the alternative waiting on the bench...

The table will look much better for a win but a draws not a disaster, if we can somehow manage a win it drags Rochdale into it, we will be 7 points behind them with a game at home on the horizon.
Rochdale play Fleetwood tonight. I think we could do with a Rochdale win.

How does he know what the quality will be like when he's 35?
And I bet there are better jobs in the world
Maybe, but he can't play guitar.
-
Whatever the rights and wrongs of banning players for non-performance enhancing drugs, he knows he shouldn't be doing it. He know he will be tested. And he knows he was very lucky to basically get away with it last time.
He's an idiot. Simple as really.
He's got the best job in the world, but its a very short career. He can put whatever he wants up his nose when he is 35 and retired. Just wait until then.

Would think so - the hotel is being bulldozed this month
They were selling tickets for stand A for the Test match, which i found weird because of the building work. Apparently they will put a temp stand up if it isn't ready in time for the test.

Rubbish, the two top premier league goal scorers were nobodies at 23 years old.
Second place on the Premier League top scorers list is currently jointly held by Kane and Lukaku. They are both 22.
-
I get a T20 season ticket for Lancs. the trick is to head around to where the new changing rooms are, the bars there seem to move much faster.
Stand A isn't open this year due to the hotel building works, or so they told me when reserving my Yorkie tickets. Think those bars round the new stands will be busier this season!

He sounds like Bazza. Bit wrong about Bradford not being a happy hunting ground. Seen us win there a fair few times.
Valley Parade used to be a nailed on 3 points for us.
-
Thanks. I did not think Hughes got 20 in a season for us
Without looking can anybody remember the non league side Porter scored against in FA Cup for us...... It is a game for some reason I don't even recollect us playing.
Think it was Kings Lynn.
Think Hughes got 18 in the season Sheridan was sacked. I'd be surprised if Sheridan has had a 20 goal striker in every season he has managed since he left us, but he will have had a few.

They were £15 in advance last year. Guess they will be similar priced this year.
