  1. Not sure if its already been said but my suggestion would be, every fan pays £100 up front and fills in a form stating the max they will pay, £100, £150, £200, £250 or £300. If we sell 7000 they all pay £100 if we only sell 6000 then maybe 5000 of them are willing to pay £150 then them 5000 get them at £150 and the other 1000 asked if they would like to pay the extra £50 or have their £100 returned. If we sell 4000 and 3000 are willing to pay £250 then we sell them at £250 to the 3000.

As far as cup game tickets go then anybody who has had a season ticket this year get priority then they go on open sale to the new season ticket holders.

  2. How about turnstile and ticket office staff ask everybody who pays on the day or buys a ticket if they would like to donate a pound out of their change from the ticket to Playershare.

Also how about a balloon race once a season. You sell tickets at £2 a go attach them all to balloons and release them before a match. The winner is the person thats ticket is sent back from the furthest location. I have all the stuff needed for a balloon release and would be happy to do one or two a year. Each balloon released cost around 25p so £1.75 profit from each one sold.

  3. Lockwood and Wilson must start in my opinion.....it would be a real kick in the teeth to be dropped for Tarky.

Tarky will be excellent cover at CB but he's not our player now and we have to look to the future. It's early days but by all accounts the back 4 were as solid as at any time this season....leave well alone.

The only other changes for me would be to play Stead up front from the start alongside Philliskirk.

I agree that we need to look to the future but while we have Tarky available we should use him, at least till we are safe.

Dont understand how you can say Tarky shouldnt play for that reason but Stead should play instead of Clark Harris.

  4. The bottom line is the worse the catering company becomes the more money the club will lose out on. If they are not maximising there profits then when they come to renew the contact with the club they will not pay as much cos they are not earning as much. Its a vicious circle that can only be broke by the catering company sorting itself out. The more they keep running out the more people will eat before the game or bring there own food resulting in the catering contract not being worth as much to the club. Ive no idea how much the contract is worth but every little helps at a club like ours.

  5. Them two chances cost me £680. I put £20 on us winning 5-1 when we went 2-0 up but ill forgive if he comes off the bench and gets the winner at PNE.

I love JCH and his disappointment at not scoring two gaping chances was admirable clear as day, however this picture shows the attitude he had at the end. Having tried to walk off the pitch and up the tunnel, a member of the coaching staff grabbed him and made him come over and thank us for our support, yet not one clap from the big man. Some fans will turn on him very clearly if this becomes the norm, which would be a big shame.

  6. Poor Championship Doncaster Rovers.

I'd rather be in their position

Really? Only 11 players on their books and with Dickov as manager. I know they are a league above but i very much expect that to change next season and by then i think we will be pushing to get out of this division with a very good manager and one of the best squads we have seen at BP in a long time. I think i would rather be our shoes at the minute.

  7. Been talking to a friend of mine today who works for the Co-op bank in Liverpool. A guy called Dave Matthews worked with him till he left last week to become the CEO of Salford City Reds. He said Matthews as told him that Koukash as no intention of moving the club to Salford. His plan is buy the club get the stand built, get Oldham rugby back at BP and use them as a feeder club for Salford hopefully get a grant from the council (as they want to use the ground, not sure what for tho) to rebuild the main stand. Also to get Scholes and Royle involved and make us an established Championship team using loan players from Utd to get us there then he would sell us on as he doesn't have the funds to take us any further.
