  1. They more than likely open when they have the most footfall. Dont forget they are open until kick off every game so you get what you need on your way to any match or on the official site. I know you cant use the £20 voucher on line but you cant expect them to give the shirts away for £20 then pay for extra staff to make sure nobody has to go out there way to get one.

  2. Corney as done a good job since taking over. Lets not forget he took over a club that was "beyond being saved" at the time and despite the problems with the shambles that is Oldham Council and the Global financial crisis we are still playing in the same division we was at the time he took over. If it wasn't for the Council or the country's Financial situation i think we could have possibly played or be playing at higher level. At the minute we are a club that is punching above its weight and have been for a few years now.

Some fans have to wake up to the fact that without him we would defiantly be playing at a much lower level than we are now unless we was to find somebody that is willing to lose even more money that Corney and Co have lost.

  3. Will making Portsmouth a voucher game be cutting it too fine?

Or could vouchers be catered for Sunday and Monday with open sale Tuesday & Wednesday (assuming match is on Wednesday)?

What about Season Tickets from tomorrow until Thursday then anyone can buy a Portsmouth AND Everton ticket Friday and Saturday?

Or should we just have a free for all once season ticket's are done?

Looks like it will be on the Wednesday. Well at least that's what it says on the fixture list on the official site.

  4. I was brought up to be an Everton and it wasn't until the F.A Cup game in 1990, at the age of 9 that i even heard of Oldham Athletic. After the 2 draws i decided that Oldham was the team for me and i wanted them to win the second replay. Needless to say my dad wasn't happy about it but there was nothing he could do. I got my first taste of live football when my younger sister was born in Oldham Hospital on 11th April that year and we went to visit i spent all my time watching the Villa game from the Hospital window before going down and climbing the fence at the back of RRE to watch the end of the game. Ive never looked back since.

  5. Rang the ticket office at 9.05 and said I believe season ticket holders can get an extra ticket for the Everton game to which the response was 'sorry but I don't know anything about it'

All sorted in the end though and they are being posted out.

I went for 3 extra straight after they announced it yesterday when i asked the girl at the window if i could get extra tickets now with my ST she said urm yeah go on then. Obviously didnt have a clue about it but still gave me the tickets and didnt even look at my ST.

  6. Ive just opened a skybet account in both mine and my girlfriends names and put our £10 free bets on Owen Coyle as next manager at 28/1 so will see if a couple of £10 bets change the odds.

I think the club would be stupid not to approach Scholes about the job. I know it will prob never happen but if it did it would be huge for the club. If he was to come as player manager it would put an extra 500 at least on the gate each week which would cover the wages for him and an experienced assistant. He would also have great contacts at Utd and would be able to attract some decent players here not to mention how good he would be on the pitch. He as just done is coaching badges and has a soft spot for us so would be a perfect candidate in my eyes.

Im sure Corney can see what he would bring to the club and hopefully he will speak to him but i doubt very much he will come.
