I've been sat here moaning about the weather, he really is a legend.
He sure is and deserves all the money he raises and I have donated a few quid for his worthy cause What a man to own our club compared with the others.

Crying shame we can’t compete against a side that can hardly get over 1500 fans and has a mound behind the goal.
Hopefully next season is better.
It will be.Best we can hope is play offs thanks to el Supremo who most of us wanted out ages ago..Still now we have the best .
Fondop get in

Someone on Hex said that we need a song for Norwood.
He scores lots of goals
Isn't he good?
James Norwood
Norwegian Wood.
I'd add third line
"Our best forward"

Made a last minute decision to go and really pleased I did! We totally outplayed them and they just couldn’t get the ball off us. On another day it could have been 4 or 5 nil.
Everyone was solid, although I was a little disappointed in Ward and the substitution was spot on and Green made a real impact.
A couple of chances we missed near the end could have been goal of the season contenders…fantastic slick passing and clever flicks
Excellent travelling support but the atmosphere was dead tbh but very happy with the 3 points…need to follow up with a similar performance at Barnet
Exactly.Barnet will be trying to get over their defeat.
Mellon will need time and patience but the fans will keep with him if they can see improvements. Glad he is putting faith in players who have not played much if any.
He is showing belief and getting the players to show belief after having the confidence knocked out of some by his predecessor.

Eastleigh were a relatively open team. Our lack of creativity is more obvious against teams that park the bus.
Unsworths legacy lives on with wasting Frank's money.

If Reid had squared the chance from the left yesterday I don't think we would be questioning Norwood yesterday. I also think he will end up having a good partnership with Reid as on numerous occasions Reid made runs off the last man with only some timely interceptions cutting out Norwoods flick ons.
Reid tried to put the ball to Norwood who would most likely have scored but it was a last second interception which stopped it.I have said for months that these two should be our main strikers and we have plenty of other strikers in reserve.

Hobson and McGahey best players.
Gardner continuing to prove he’s a myth. So much indecision and poor passing. His dead ball delivery was woeful today, started by that ridiculous corner.
Probably the worst corner kick I've ever seen

Mellon certainly has a job on his hands but it's early day's and I'm sure he'll find a solution to turning draws into wins
Yep....he has for sure.
Thought we played well and should have won with at least four good chances.
Ref again not fit for purpose. With our strikers we should be putting a lot more away.

Lost a lot a credibility with me starting Nuttall and Dickenson who he must have known shouldn't have even been considered.
I'd sooner play 17yo Alfie Atherton on the wing than any of this bunch.
Bedides bags of ability at least he shows some dynamism.
Wouldn't surprise me though if he's never even trained with the first team.
Rochdale played a 17yo against who looks a great prospect.
Why not play Fondop. He scored twice last time we played there and was immense. I feel he is seeing just how poor we really are with several players.

Highlights - Oldham Athletic Vs Altrincham – Altrincham FC
That penalty decision was shocking. Great goal from Sheron, but that sitter from Hope early first half.
Agree but Hope was so close with that low bending shot.Plus the goal at Rochdale .

I was really impressed with Hope today. Good all round performance. He's never a midfielder but never stopped running and did the simple things well. He's been through a lot but gives his all. We'll done to him today.
I'll second that.
Plus so close with that low bending shot which just missed.Pity he missed one early on but he will come good with more games..same with Reid.Nuttall had a poor game and until he can regain his form should not start.

Doesn't sound like we have been particularly good Flemboy from the radio commentary....what's your view?
Poor first half.We missed an early chance and scored a good goal. They scored with first effort on goal with a well placed header.Pretty even half but we need to improve a lot second half.We are playing too much crab football in midfield.
Being an optimist I'm going for 3 -2.!!

TV replays didn't show any handball but the angle wasn't the best.
Their player just assumed we'd been given a free kick and started walking away.
Imo no handball and thought we should have had a free kick.instead.Poor ref.
