  1. Good point,PROVIDED its backed up by 3 on saturday.
  2. Was Brill at fault?Sounds suspiciously like he was to me. Anyway, another kick in the bollocks.Fingers crossed for rugby tomorrow. PS,galadickoves has spectcularly backfired on Hardy, good, the leech turns my stomach.
  3. The burning question this evening is... Is chris taylor going through the motions? Discuss.. PS great,if slightly fortunate win,Bournmouth well worth a point for mine.
  4. The strikers are not producing at all which is becoming a big concern already. Need a win next week,4 without a win now....
  5. ABSOLUTELY spot on,explained much better than ever could. IM sick of hearing about how good taylor is on 'his day',when exactly are we going to see 'his day',he has talent im not going to dismiss that, but the lad is in every sense is lacking 'balls',hes a crybaby and a bottle job, others in this league sooon cottoned on to it. Its a good job there wernt any chris taylors flying spitfires in the Battle of Britain (yes ive just watched it) or we'd all be speaking german..yup that bits a joke,,,i think.
  6. Im sorry but that doesnt hold water with me.Taylor was absolutely appalling last season and folk were quick to blame his string of 'injuries'. Is this back from injury crap going to be the line this season to?
  7. Chris taylor needs dropping, now. We were gash, the weather was gash (is it really August)? and i got soaked. Apart from that it was an enjoyable day.
  8. Yes dickov is already 20streets ahead of penney as far as tactics signings morale and the kitchen sink is concerned BUT the stuff going on behind the scenes is still a greater con#cern for me.All that said i thjink we'll be mid table comfortabley this year, its what happens next that is deffo weighing on my mind tho..
  9. I confidently predict we will be cap in hand knocking on Mr Hamiltons door this time next year,Whitebank stadium is where the futures at guys. Even some of the lemmings are beginning to see the tree's it seems. Whereas i smelt a rat about 18months ago,at least. 'We have secured the future of the club for another season',LOL,i'd suggest Failsworths dead in the water. Suprise suprise ...
  10. So,i was right all along.Well forgive ne for giving a sound rollocking to the lemmings. The facts are these... They bought the club for the land. They have lost to much money and want out.(All of them) Failsworth aint happening, and never was imo. Corney will hang on until the end of the season. we'll probably go down. Oh,and PD is sat at home thinking WTF??? Depressing...but all true.
  11. If its true i have to hold my hands up and say i will be suprised. IMO this is quite a bold imaginiative step by the board which might just come good. The manager will bring a work ethic to the club and thats half the battle.Obviously he will learn as he goes along but with some decent staff i think this will be a good move.
  12. They are in a hole here TTA.Whoever comes in is going to have pretty much co k all to spend and any manager with ambition is going to run a mile in those circumstances. Forget Gannon and forget any one with big ideas, the board will go with MG or MC,its purely stop gap until the inevitable bail out down the line anyway. Stick a score on us going down next season i reckon we'd be around evens at bookies.
  13. Just looked at the table and trannies need to win all3 to beat our 51,cant see it happening with colchester away and millwall to come. Exeter also have a pretty stiff run in. WOOP WOOP
  14. Yeh i think you were ok whatever the result tonight. Good luck in the playoffs,i think.
  15. Yup,we are safe now. Sounds like we really did snatch a point tonight.Saints sound like they will be up there next season.
  16. Good grief how old are you two?About 16 LOL.I was singing that at sheddings watching rugby about 25 years ago.
  17. LOL i see people are assuming we are safe.We are not safe and a couple of defeats could leave us right back in the sh...
  18. Its a great result and well done the boys,we've hot form at just the right time. With everyone else winning we really needed those3 points today. Southend are all but down so i guess stockport aside we couldnt wish for a better opponent next week. Might sound contoversial but id rest abbott on tues,he looks tired and out of form,we need him back on all cylanders next sat.
  19. Norwich are really starting to pi ss me off.Lost to tranmere the other week and now lose to another of our rivals. Useless tosers.
  20. Beforehand i'd have said an excellent result but the stats suggest we were better and perhaps should have won. 3 decent results for us tonight, tranmere losing, southend only drawing at home and perhaps crucially gillingham only drawing at home, their next 3 fixtures are leeds norwich and southampton, thats a very hard run in. In summery 1 more win and we are safe imo.
  21. Yep i have been advocating dropping taylor for weeks, actually months. Not sure whats going on with the lad but i mentioned i saw him in a bookies just an hour before a game he pulled out of due to injury earlier in the season,he looked ok to me. Anyway, personally i think hes a bit of a tart, and the opposing teams know it. Simple instruction for teams opposing latics, give him a kick in first 10mins and he'll spend the rest of the game crying to referees. Such a shame b/c he does have talent,he doesnt have any balls to go with it unfortunately.
  22. Whilst i agree southend look likely to fill the 3rd spot im having serious reservations about us avoiding the last spot. We will get pummelled tomorrow, leaving us one game in hand on some but not tranmere.Personally i think its between us Orient and Gillingham. Am i confident this team of ours can get to my cut off 51 total? Not on ter nelly.
  23. I doubt very much anyone would pay 200k for taylor. The lad is embarassingly poor.
  24. Desperately needed 3 points today. Its bloody annoying that Exeter,Tranmere and Hartlepool have all picked up victories and not allowed us a bit of a buffer. Looking at the fixtures Bristol R and Southend at home look absolute must wins, hopefully a couple of draws on the road to give us 8 points meaning a total of 51.For me that will be just enough. Stats from today suggest we were a tad fortunate?
