  1. I said that on Saturday, "Today, we're are better than you" - :censored:s sake keep up. At least you now agree that the best team won on the day, we're getting somewhere folks. I think you put your teams strength at around 75% better off than when we played you at Elland last. This tells me that you're really not that good at assessing the build up of your squad. Probably de-sensitised to the English game now. Anyway, it's your manager that's gash - just in case you don't know is McAllister. If you can assemble the outfit you've got ("it was a Wise team least year yadda, yadda, yadda"), be as good as you claim to be, and lose 2-0 at home - you're in :censored: street. And you can keep yer grubby mits of Shez and Tommy n'all.
  2. I remeber our divisional peers blowing gaskets about our price increases not so long ago. Not exactly the same circumstances I know, but we've been on the receiving end of some abuse before now. Slightly away from football ticket prices, me ticket for the Challenge Cup Final at Wembley final came over the weekend, £21. RL prices are starting to creep up n'all in general, however you could get a half season ticket watching Saints in their brilliant form for £96 - not bad value. On the day prices start at £17 for adult in the Super League - but it could be as little as £11 if we're playing Catalans or similar in the Challenge Cup. Next seasons season ticket eary price is about £185, still not bad if you can get to most games to make it pay.
  3. Okay, as long as you don't let him eat your left-over kebabs from nights out on the lash - and you give him plenty of exercise. If he goes on the carpet, he's outside.
  4. Not as accurate as Leeds fans who went to the game saying we deserved it, but there you go. What he said, nice one H_T_C
  5. Stop moving away from the issue, or are you going to edit your post to suit? EDIT: Okay, you watched the game via the Matchconsole - I take it it's the BBC one, I'm not sure - anyway, the console is about as much use as a wet match. You're getting information that's passed through about four elements before you read it on screen. The only things they can completely guarantee is the scoreline, which in this instance was two nil to Latics. There have been fans from both sides whoi witnessed the game first hand, and they both concur - Oldham deserved their goals - Oldham played outstandingly, and Oldham were worthy winners. Face it Leeds were undone in their own back yard, by a team you written off some time before. Now you're hiding behind some dodgy stat you've read off Teletext.
  6. In the back of his mind, Chaddy knew this would end in tears. Time to make a quick exit - plus the "Chuckchadlee" moniker would never stick.
  7. And editing your posts today won't cover your blushes either... http://www.owtb.co.uk/index.php?s=&sho...st&p=154293 This is the original post...
  8. Without witnessing the whole 90mins first hand too, incredible. How do you do it?
  9. Little known newspaper clipping - World Cup Willie was unavailable for comment...
  10. I'm sure we can all exercise some sort of composure...
  11. Ooo hang on ladies, somebody needs to count to ten...
  12. Ali floors Liston, but hang on, is that...it is! Not only that, but - ringside seats?
  13. Evidence that Chaddy was not on the grassy knoll...
  14. Iwo Jima, and I may be wrong but - could it be?
  15. "Peace in our time" said Chamberlain, and is that our famous mascot over his left shoulder?
  16. Mmm, yes. Very difficult to distinguish... Is he the one with the hat?

  18. If you are having no issue with it, don't change it! I had an untold amount of computability issues and general operating problems with AVG. Personally I felt like I couldn't rely on the application to do it's job under my circumstances, so I got shot. The choice between keeping Firefox or AVG is a no brainer IMO. If you are just having the odd update problem like this one, leave it as it is.
  19. With continuing issues with AVG and Firefox - I dumped AVG months back. I now use Comodo, but Avast is an excellent alternative also. Avast has long since been the free application of choice for the people at Hijackthis - so it comes well recommended.
