  1. A pastry baker is called a pâtissier in French. Just to clear it up. Bloody garlic munching surrender merchants...
  2. Control Panel > Java > Java (Tab) > Java View (for 'Application Runtime Settings') > Make sure a tick under 'Enabled' and Apply/OK through the dialogue boxes. It might not completely be a client problem though Diego. In the past such sites like the ones you've mentioned, it's the client side firewall that won't allow the streaming data, because the server code won't allow it. But this can be remedied client side until the code gets patched. Set your firewall settings to whitelist these sites for the time being. Or if your looking at uk.youtube check out the www.youtube site instead...
  3. I'll give you the apostrophe, but the 's' stays...

  5. http://owtb.blip.tv/ Uploaded to Blip. If I can get enough pictures and video footage, I will be glad to do a proper piece on Ernie. I just don't have the resources though, there has to be more footage of him. I just can't find any...
  6. At the 2006 Grand Final, Hull FC ran out wearing training tops with PRESCOTT and the number 1. Steve Prescott had recently been diagnosed with cancer, and since he was full back for Hull - they thought it would be a great idea to wear these tops. Saints didn't, which was strange - he played for us too. Anyway, might be a great idea for the League Cup - Cooksey 4 training tops?
  7. It's only on youtube temporarily, I'll load it up to Blip.tv as soon as their server comes back. I've added a proper dedication to Ernie on this version at the end with some moments silence. Thanks to those who have enjoyed it so far. Um, not much else to say really - This is for Ernie...
  8. Goodbye Ernie. Im so sad, so very sad. I wasn't prepared for this at all, I kept thinking he'd fight it off - I don't know what to say to be honest... My thoughts are with the family at this unhappy time. God bless you Ernie x.
  9. Part one of my fan made Broadway Tribute, part two may be a while coming about... Thanks to everyone who submitted their pictorial memories of our beloved stand in the OWTB gallery over the last year. This is dedicated to Ernie. http://owtb.blip.tv/#1056422

  13. BBC are putting iPlayer to good use and covering Glasto08 by replaying sets from the previous days events. http://www.bbc.co.uk/glastonbury/2008/ I've just watched The Editors and The Foals - now I don't like The Foals, I don't like Yannis Philippakis, and I don't like the plinky-plinky guitar riffs, but I foot-tapped my way through their 30 minute set, although Cassius is :censored:e - and I thought someone was a bit off-key in it, I reckon they were trying to jam too much. I'm no musician though. I gave them a chance I suppose...

  16. I think Olympique and the Celtics with be granted licenses, RFL have been banging on about bringing other countries into the league - these two will fill their mandate. I'm not too sure about all of the current SL teams being bankers though Shiny; Wakefield and Cas have got to be looking over their shoulder at the likes of Widnes, Leigh, and Salford. Hull KR aren't a given either...
  17. Downloaded Project Reality mod http://www.realitymod.com/ for Battlefield 2 free DL - gives the buggy mess that is BF2 a bit of life. Nothing better to do on these silly shift times....
  18. The Super League has announced that it will go ahead with plans to increase the league to 14 teams from next season. Plus it now has the 3-year license system in place as well. In order to compete at the very top of the European Rugby League, teams now have to apply for a license to play. At the moment, all 12 current Super League clubs have applied plus National League sides Widnes Vikings, Salford City Reds, Leigh Centurions, Featherstone Rovers, Celtic Crusaders and Halifax RLFC. French side Toulouse Olympique have also submitted a bid. Should be interesting, I wonder who wont get one? Have Saints left the new stadium issue a bit late? Cas, Wakefield and Hull KR might struggle as well. Celtics look good for it, as do Olympique - ESL love the french. Salford and Widnes are in with a shout. But Salford have not got their new ground yet, and both Salford and Widnes would be fitting in too close to their neighbours Saints, Warrington, and Wigan. Decision to be made in July sometime.
  19. Saints had a three year deal with Allsports at the time of their demise in 2005. We got Earth in pretty quickly (touted as a £200k - £250k per year deal) so really didn't lose out on any sponsorship cash. However, Earth themselves were placed in administration back in 2007 and Pilkies took over the sponsorship. The new deal is estimated at around £400k - £500k per year, which isn't bad considering. Add that to the Hattons sponsorship, and the ground sponsorship with GPW Recruitment (I don't know how much this is worth) and Saints now have a strong sponsorship portfolio.
