The way we've been since after Rochdale away, why don't we accept that we're poor at the back so go after teams and try to out score them? Would much rather watch us lose 4-3 5-4 etc than play X1 up top and lose 3-0 4-0. Just tell tell to out score everyone! At least then it'll be entertaining......!

With hindsight I believe we were always going to struggle when injuries set in. Good 1st 11 when everything is rosey but squad wafer thin with what looks like weak minded players. Sadly think LJ will go into be a decent manager no matter how much how he left us hurt. If we don't get it right with next appointment, and with the squad he's going to inherit. I think another struggle lies ahead. Hopefully once new stand opens, we'll start to get 5-6k in the ground and therefore actually afford to have a realistic chance of moving forwards properly and not by shear luck.....!

I don't get why some of us are slating him. You can't blame the man for having enough. How many false dawns, how much do we charge to attend a run down, ancient stadium? How many poor players under perform?!? It all adds up eventually. Especially if you have a wife and kids and social life that could quite easily fill the gap. Oldham needs someone with cash and new/fresh ideas. Not gonna happen anytime soon. Does anyone actually have a good time at Oldham when we play as bad as this, which is quite often?

Let's be frank. We have a poor squad and a poor budget. That makes it x2 0-4s, a 0-3 and a 0-7! I agree Dean Holden seriously not the answer. Sadly, I feel he'll probably be left to sink his teeth into management with us. Nothing to base Holdens impending failure at management, can't blame him for today's result. It's not a job in the real world tho is it, football management? I'm sure, as a football fan, you already know that. So I'm not sure why you'd write what you just have....Football is tribal and emotional where all fans want their players / coaches / managers to be loyal. Especially ones that say they are loyal and have love for the club. For me, it feels like I've just found out that my best mate has slept with an ex who I was head over heals about, who's just dumped me. Even tho he said he'd never do anything like that 'coz he's me best mate'......Just gutted really, and then you find out Dean Holden is manager. So underwhelming!

Shame all this. I honestly feel if he came out and said he was interested and why most level headed fans would have understood and wished him well. To say nothing, nothing! Then be seen at the Barnsley match night before he leaves sucks and is a contradiction to everything he says he stands for and believes. No good eye etc to us fans either. Shocking really. Skysports have just confirmed it, Lee Johnson to Barnsley, statement at 1pm, conference at 3pm. I guess he was there last night to confirm the job and not scouting. Feel let down. Silly this

I think whats key about all this is that even if he doesn't leave us for Barnsley, the fact that he is surely strongly considering it does not bode well. I mean, it's Barnsley for heavens sake! What happens if a Championship side comes available or a top 6 League One side??? I personally believe he's off and has wanted this since Ched saga / poor Dec (just my opinion). He talks about loyalty and building something but then looks at the grass on the other side, very poor for me. I think he should go, we get compensation and hopefully bring in someone with pedigree (doubt this will happen as SC is never here and has little to no interest anymore, at least, that's how it looks from here). Upset with this.
