If we get Holden until end of season or someone of that ilk then, IMO, we are doomed for 4th tier football soon. Really need new owners who have fresh ideas and more importantly, cash. Very disappointed in LJ if he leaves for Barnsley. Understand it, better chance for promotion next season. But some of the things he's said smacks of Dowie leaving for Palace.....!

I'd be up for this to happen: LJ goes to Barnsley We get decent sized compensation package which finally finishes the stand We then get Nigel Adkins as boss

Okay, so we're not now signing a convicted rapist (thank god in my opinion). Where and how does the club go from here? How do we win back sponsors that have gone and how do we as a club rebuild our reputation? Also, who are we going to sign to kick start our season???

Agree with this - We've imploded beyond belief. Had hoped this season would at least show us as potential play-off earners, which to be fair, we have been. Right up until we lost Murray.............it's just all gone very pear shapped hasn't it......

No you're right but if LJ is unable to get anyone in short notice you'd still play him until he does wouldn't you??

LJ is doing a better job than Dickov in my opinion. To me, it seems like the stars are aligned for us to fail at evey attempt to grow the club. Be it global economy melt down or poor performances at every discounted match at BP, a new manager with fresh ideas and a knack of bringing in really good players but being a really poor manager; to now showing massive promise to only fall from a very high drop at the most important time of the year (holiday season). We can of course turn this round and finish strongly but can anyone remember a team putting out results like we have recently and being successful? Just feels like no matter what the club does to turn things round something, somehow funks it up in a massive way!!

Has anyone not noticed our very poor defenceive record? Whilst I agree we do need a decent striker (name a club that doesn't), if we didn't concede at least 1-2 goals every frickin game we'd be alright. Our defence has been terrible (IMO) for almost 5-6 seasons now....

Wheels have well and truly fallen off! We have been playing with less and less intensity for a few weeks now and Yeovil / MK Dons was the bottom off the barrel. Reckon we'll slowly get better but nowhere near a playoff side and even if somehow we were to be and went up. We'd have the worst point tally for a Championship side. Unfortunately with the current owners and crowd sizes we'll only ever be a League one side at best. That's how it is I'm afraid folks!!

Just watched the interview, lots of sighing and I think he's going to be trying to get more in as he kept on saying "need to close ranks and welcome anyone who can make us better". Does he mean players or staff or 'faith healers'?!?!?

Really pissed off about this one! What can be done though? The players are just mentally weak. We'll be lucky to stay up!
