    Normally, I wouldn't be jumping to that conclusion now. The end of his interview was worrying though.

     

    Im not saying its lost, misplaced, but not lost. If we get slapped on Boxing Day (thats IF) then I think it will have gone

    I think you know my post was tongue in cheek Pukka?

    But, I'd agree: the bit where he said he'd opened up the floor to air their thoughts suggests there's maybe 1 or 2 grumbles going around.

    Is it as simple as a bollocking gone wrong?

    If LJ comments, post Doncaster,are actually the reason for the loss of confidence in the players, then really; someone needs to switch the light off on the way out, because we're done!

     

    I mean, that wasn't a real bollocking was it? It was hardly a Red Nose-esq Hairdrier rant.

    He was upset at a poor performance, which dumped us out of a Cup competition in which i'm sure had been targeted to reach the 3rd round minimum in. He called it as most of us saw it to be fair.

     

    If toys have been thrown over that; then - well, my word. The players we have this season aren't what i thought they were in that case.

    If they think that was a bollocking, a real bollocking, then they should come to my work and do a weeks work; then see about what a real bollocking feels like. Heck, anyone one of our places of work for that matter.....because LJ post Doncaster comments were not a real bollocking.

     

    That's why i can't believe for one moment that it's that reason alone that is responsible for for the change in attititude across the side.

    Something else has had to have gone on, training ground or dressing room wise, it can't be only some mild negativity post-match from their manager. Can it?

    I don't think he bothered with tactics Singe, just a basic attacking formation and simply told them to get at us.

    Yep, I agree.

     

    A manager of a 3rd tier professional Football Club didnt bother with any of those fancy-dan Tactics and simply rilled them up with some stirring words and told them to simply 'get at 'um'.

    Yep, that's what will have happened...

    What has gone on since Rochdale??

     

    Tactics and selection aside, the spirit and standard of performance we put in last week and today (from the sounds of things), have just been polar opposite to what went before.

    Makes you wonder if something 'behind the scenes' has gone on doesnt it?

     

    I mean, it was going so well. Attractive football, difficult to beat, players playing with confidence and style......to this in a real short space of time.

     

    Weird doesnt even cover it?
