She didn't really have any choice though, being from Essex.

Some good attendance predictions in the Premier League. astottie was out by +3, whilst Ex_pat missed by -7. a259 and oafcmetty top scored with 9 points apiece, the latter taking over top spot. JoeP climbed 5 places whilst GravityGrave fell by 5 places. Former champion David Collinge drops into the relegation zone and Hometownclub props everybody up.
Premier League
Bloody hell Bristol, i know I've had a slow start to my title defence but to say I'm propping everybody up is a gross exaggeration.
What about Singe, I'm a very healthy 6 points clear of him, he really is propping everybody up (sorry Singe).
I'm still finding my feet with Latics now in League 2, I didn't realise how crap this division is, I'll adjust my predictions accordingly.
Anyway its still early days, its a marathon not a sprint blah, blah, etc etc

Derby making wholesale changes I hear.
Unless they bring the under 11's, I still think we'll be in trouble, still going though.

Yep, those highlights clearly show us to be second best, looks like we've got out of jail with a point.
It's going to be yet another long hard season, lets hope we can stay up.

Lee Erwin set to sign for Iranian side Tractor Sazi F.C
I'm surprised a player with his first touch isn't being snapped up to play at a much higher level.

My very first game was March 1973 v Swansea, I was 9, we won 1-0, David Shaw scored the goal at the Rochdale Road End. I'll never forget the goal as it was one of those that strikes the under side of the bar and bounces down and then in.
It was a Tuesday evening game and my dad and me went in the Chaddy End, the team wore blue shirts, blue shorts and white socks, the whole experience seemed so exciting to me at that age. i suppose it helped that we won. but I was hooked from that moment on.
Frizzell was manager and the team included Wood, Whittle, Shaw, Dowd, McVitie etc.
It was the start of a lifelong journey watching Latics.

Very sad news, didn't know him personally but enjoyed reading his posts on here, very intelligent, rational and level headed in his posts.
RIP

A good and very fair assessment.

Hes a waste of a wage and typical modern footballer brought up with bigger clubs. Flaters to deceive, capable on his day, anonymous far too often, but with more effort could be decent. hasn't got the will to do that. Has an ego bigger than his ability. No loss at all.
Mclaughlin summed up very well right there.

I like them both.

Thought Maguire did really well - he pretty much won every header and came close to scoring a couple of times.
Confident runs forward too - a bit more interesting to watch than your usual "knock it sideways" England defender..
It's all about opinions, just thought Maguire gave the ball away cheaply on a few occasions.

A very deserved victory for me on the balance of play, as I don't think Pickford had a save to make. aside from the softest penalty in the world.
Kane was wrestled to the ground twice by their number 4, I thought that was what the VAR was for.
I would definitely have Rose in for Young and Cahill for Maguire.
I would possibly start Rashford for Sterling aswell depending on Alli's fitness.
Overall a good win in difficult circumstances.

Wellens to Donny?
Fingers crossed.
Bloody hell, that would be a result, especially if we got some compensation.
Can't see it though.

Either way it looks a decent bet.
