  1. Who is Kenny?

Also assisted with CPR on an Everton fan a few years ago on a car park away from the ground, sadly the fan passed away, but hey well done Kenny, I will buy you a pint next time I see you, ( even though you still owe me one for my birthday. ). :sign0173:

Again well in Kenny and respect to the Chesterfield fans who stood and clapped as the chap was being taken out of the ground, that's what football should be about.

  2. He's one of our own-Coleman

Eckythump-The Wilson twins-that gay blonde Burnley lad

    Captain sideways

    Managers bum boy-Bambi

The new loan lad from MK Franchise who is not one of our own (and never effing will be)

Little and Large (aka Fast & Lard)

Bench-other goalie, David Dull in a suit & 4 loanees plus Usain's mate who cant bend his knees

Now that's a proper chap who has been following our team selection and progress from DD's appointment

At least Mr Smoker has some idea, I hope he's been to the local bookmaker to have a tenner on the result tomorrow!!

(Captain sideways - I love it!!).

Well in lad. Hope to see you at new Saltergate. :peepwall:

  3. It was either a Mr G Brown or a Mr A Blair actually......

Mr Cameron has put it up to £151 a week from £115 for you from next April.

Bollocks to that: I am 59 going on 60 Next April Harry I get jack :censored:. Its not next April it's April in SIX years time until I can put my card in the machine in the Post office and when they say "how much would you like" I can say ALL OF IT!!

    Happy days :drinking45:

  4. The rules should be the same throughout the full 92 clubs.

I am 60 later in the year (3 October) don't forger my cards, but my Bus Pass and State Pension don't arrive until I am 66 - someone (A Mr Cameron I think) has robbed me of a years pension and free travel to Rochdale & Bury & Wigan away!!

HOWEVER - At Brentford, they only had one turnstile open. I gave the nice man my money and he gave me change. The young whippersnapper thought I was as old as I look. :sign0173:

It's flat cap and OAP this season at away games - sod it!!

  5. He's a bit hit and miss but quite like the idea of pace on both flanks and he has certainly got a goal in him.

He's got a good dive in him too. I remember him at Gillingham going down like a sack of spuds. Once the penalty had been given he came over and mocked the away fans - still I would have him at the right price! :OASISscarf:

  6. Why is this game being played on a Monday night when most others are being played on a Sunday afternoon?

It's because the league know I have my tonsils plumbed into the J W Lees hand pump at my local on a Sunday afternoon and the crowd would be down!

Surely you know 3 pints is binge drinking!! :drinking45::drinking45::drinking45: .

Also I will now be able to attend Oakwell on Monday night and enjoy the 3 points back on the A635!! :OASISscarf: . (points, pints - who's counting?).

  7.

Cheers Millibob. I must have caught them on a bad day - I suspect they'd just had a "children's party" and it smelled of children and burned onions. And there were food scraps everywhere (which might appeal to some). I always call in the Dog when I'm up, for the awesome beer and the flexible time-calling arrangements.

    Hi Mr Tulse Hill

Next time you pay a visit to the Republic of Royton may I be the first person (the only one knowing most of the population) to offer to buy you a pint of the foaming nectar at the aforementioned establishment. (Yes they do admit ankle snappers but the profit margin on Crisps and Fruit Shoots is too good to miss!!)

    :deal:

  8. Someone who lives in Oldham might be better at this but...

    Uphill to the ground:

The Greyhound - decent food and some parking out front. Top class bitter.

The Dog and Partidge - God's own bitter but the pub has seen better days. Lots of parking and not too much further on your walk to the ground.

Downhill to the ground. Great nearby chippy.

The White Hart - Bog standard booze. (Selection of continental lagers brewed in by licence in in the UK). Heated area outside for tab monkeys. Some parking at the back.

The Old Grey Mare - Bog standard booze. (Selection of continental lagers brewed in by licence in in the UK). Some parking at the back.

They're all perfectly friendly places for away fans. Our hooligans aren't old enough for pubs and have no money anyway.

    Hi Mr Tulse Hill

Just been in The Dog & Partridge, new landlady (of 8 months). J W Lees Bitter to have your tonsils plumbed into, and it's only £ 2/10s/00d a pint!! (£ 2.50 if you are under 50!!) And (never begin a sentence with and) they do sell those fancy lagers etc, no food but a beer garden and away and home fans welcome.

  9. I listened to the football show on BBC Radio Manchester tonight (Charlie McDonald was a guest). The BBC were told that between 300 and 350 fans left the game at half time. Let's hope that they and the "missing" 3000 who were at Liverpool the other Sunday turn out Tuesday. :OASISscarf:

  10. crisis (noun) turning point or decisive moment, time of acute danger or suspense.

I was at Crawley today. We did not have our best day, but, Lee and his team are young, they are still learning their trade.

I don't for one second think we have a Crisis, more of a problem keeping clean sheets and getting the ball in the onion bag.

This is a "work in progress", it will take time, lets get behind the manager and team and :ktf::peepwall:
