Years and years of the same division is bound to bring out reactions like sinnotts. Doesn't make it right, some people can't keep their frustrations in.
-
Looks like he has played his last game. Massive shame. Hope it doesn't ruin his chances of getting the move he thinks he deserves.
-
Ok let's give him 25 years. There are always the odd chairman who sticks by a manager. Corney has never really Done that so there is little to suggest he will with dickov.
-
What I mean is you don't get time in this day and age. Don't agree with how football has become but isn't PD on a contract to the end of the season? If we end the season with a whimper then I doubt he will be offered a new one.
-
Rosler has said that we were a strong side and that they rode their luck. Cheered me up slightly.
-
Where was Joe Royle after 2 seasons?
It's modern day football I'm afraid so unfortunately this point is no longer valid.
-
Terrace I believe. Sinnotts entitled to his opinion, not long before he may begin to be proved right.
-
Plenty of potential in there. Hope they haven't got a good right winger mind.
-
Will the ball Be on the floor a a bit now?
-
I assume the junction will be showing the game on Monday? I work round the corner and have to watch the game close by as I start at 3. Cheers
-
Oh right he wasn't when I checked.
-
Anyone heard whether we have managed to extend his loan? We could really do with him at the back.
-
Carl is the lookers being knocked down the main reason for your non attendance? I think it's definatly alienated a fair few.
-
ruined? Really?
I'm allowed to be rash So soon after the game.

This continuing malaise with not scoring goals leaves us vulnerable time after time to late goals.
In 2012 we have played 19 matches.
7 games - no goal scored
9 games - 1 goal scored
2 games - 2 goals scored
1 game - 3 goals scored
16 out of 19 games 1 goal or less scored , shockingly poor imo.
This is the main problem. Were doing ok defensively, our lack of goals is putting excess pressure on us to keep clean sheets.
-
These aren't really examples though, maybe bunns turn on Tuesday.
-
Another weekend ruined. :censored: em.
-
What about his complete lack of positional sense an his inability to tackle without studs showing. Reckless.
-
A team with no centre midfielders pretty much then! God I hope Furman is fit to play!
-
Davies hounded himself out by being a complete tool. Typical Latics luck that he has gone on to eventually live up to his undoubted ability.
-
It comes down to this for me.
I want every Latics player to succeed. I want every Latics player to improve under the coaching regime at the football club. But over a year in to his Latics career it's fair to ask some questions.
Last season I recall a couple of goals. Late header in a game already won and a smart finish at Notts County when we were already ahead. This season I recall some penalties, a consolation goal at Dale and another goal which slips my mind (EDIT: he put us 2-1 up at Orient).
He's hardly prolific. Even when he's fully fit and appears to be putting everything in to his game. Has he ever scored a decisive goal in a Latics match? I can only think of Orient away. Just one goal in over a year that has actually given us the win.
It's not a witch hunt of any sort. It's a simple question. Is Reuben Reid good enough? I suspect not. It's up to the player to show he is.
(In Reid's defence, our creativity and supply to the strikers often leaves a bit to be desired, but it's up to the strikers to be in the right place at the right time too)
I would be amazed if he is kept on next season.

Didnt miss much. Atmosphere was similar to a friendly probably more down to watching a very tired team struggling to string 2 passes together and create anything.
-
Furman played for a hour this afternoon and looked in good shape, he wasn't afraid to put in a challenge and used the ball well. It depends what sort of reaction he has after this workout as to whether he will figure in the first team squad for Saturday.
Young centre back Belezika shone again, while Kirk Millar looked lively.
What score?
-
I dont feel the need to make him a scapegoat either. More so PD for starting him when their are better options on je bench and possibly even already on the pitch in Bunn who like Parker will never get a game in his best position.
Next Season - Who Stays...who goes?
