  1. Possibly.

Or, if you look on the official site Reid is wearing a long sleeved shirt in the game against Sheff Utd at home but in the latest gallery action against Yeovil he is wearing a short sleeved one, perhaps he has switched to the short sleeves and the club want to cash in on the long sleeved one?

My money is on that he has got to fat for the one he was wearing at the start of the season.

  3. But has barely played, however he would rip some serious arseholes in this division after in effect a year's rest. Be like a caged gorilla waiting to be released… (not a racist remark, before the thought police seize on it…) TBH i'm not sure i'd want to go back. The fact no-one else has taken a punt on him says a lot as he mostly did ok here. We need a nippy, poacher to compliment either Reid or Kuqi.

However my money's on someone :censored: like Scapuzzi, or someone who has failed to rip any trees in loan spells elsewhere like David Ball.

Thought ball had a decent scoring record?

  4. I've woke up this morning, still as pissed off as I was last night. I didn't go, I was all set to go on the official coach until finding out I was working today. I'm glad I didn't go...

Kuqi hasn't scored in open play in each of his last 16 League Games. During those 16 League games we've scored only 14 goals, we've won only 4 of those games and scored more than one on three occasions. Take out those 3 games and it's 6 goals in 13 games!!!! Not good enough, with players like Morais, Taylor, Simpson and KMB we make chances (mostly) but the wrong man is in the team to take advantage. Every striker goes through a drought and you do feel for Kuqi, but if we had not seen this blind faith bollocks with Tonk last season, then maybe my patience would not have snapped. Two or three weeks ago, I thought we'd done enough to be safe, now i'm not so sure. The LUCKY win at Sheffield, hid the cracks imo and i'm convinced that we are about to embark on another run like last season. Dickov is not learning from his mistakes. He talks a good game, but does little to back it up with a team that makes the same mistakes week in week out, that runs out of steam after an hour.

Saturday is now massive, if he starts with Kuqi and we lose AGAIN, I feel the worm will turn. He's done a decent job here and brought in some decent players. But his loyalty to one or two has undone a lot of good work in both his seasons here, yes he's been hampered in both years by losing his midfielders, but he has options already at the club. He should have the balls to use them……….

I agree with everything you write. It's almost as it dickov is too stubborn to drop kuqi after publicly backing him. I expect to see him in the sideo on Saturday for what will be a tough game as dale will be fired up.

  5. The knives are out tonight aren't they? Lets be honest, did anyone expect a win? Let's not forget there's a reason Stevenage have been up and around the play-offs for most of the season. We've got an injury crisis, with Furman, Wes, Simpson out that's 3 of our best players out. We had a CB/CM at left-back and a striker upfront who can't score in front of an open goal currently. Start of season most people said we'd finish bottom half/mid table which is where we are now, with a couple of games in hand on a few teams around us.

We're going round In circles on this board. Yes people at the start of the season would be happy with lower mid table but it's the manner of how we find ourselves where we are. Concentration levels, failure to keep clean sheets, failure to play well in both halves, dickovs annoying persistence in playing out of form players, or player should I say. Running out of steam again, yes it's down to injuries but there's still enough quality in the team to avoid these consistent defeats.

  6. Fuming and I didn't even go. Told we should have had a pen and Taylor and kuqi almost came to blows. If you can only muster 1 shot on target in 90 minutes then we get what we deserve. Knocks the stuffing out of us nicely for two tough away games.
