  1. was a little unsure about the appointment of DP at first (when he announced 40 pts was his first target) but i must say im 100% in favour, he is building a cracking squad spotting some good talent. Dave Penny could well be a football genius
  2. any truth in a rumour i have heard this morning about ian moore being a possible signing ???
  3. screams out 2 me that we have given up reachin the play-offs this season, hughes was always gonna leave at end of season if we didnt go up, and with the almost impossible ask of reachin the top 6 this time i guess it was comin. gettin rid of him now has saved on wages and a chance 2 blood the younger lads once again maybe it is his influence or attitude thats caused him to leave but by not bringing anybody in to replace your leading goalscorer sounds as though the faith has been lost for this season at least tell u summat though, supportin the blues, there is never a dull moment
  4. its a big ask but never say never in football or mayb im talkin with my fingers crossed its been a great season up until last month or so, we were in a great position but sum slack results have cost us at a critical part of the campaign its the same old story at boundary park again but they will still b in me till the day i die win lose or draw
  5. my dads was alan groves, tells me all the time bout how he used 2 stop with the ball n pretend 2 tie his laces n then when a player came towards him he stand up n run off still keepin the ball
  6. fair point, i just cant think of anybody who we could bring in 2 replace shez, or who would want to come in and replace shez who could do any better, he does need 2 get a grip of his players n let them know who is boss while he still is. im not saying we aint good enough 2 go up because i believe we have the potential but i feel it is shez who has instilled that potential givin us belief that we can b a top 6 side, mayb im wrong, i just dont feel sackin him right now is the solution
  7. its a touchy subject i know, but i feel sheridan has done a pretty good job since he has been in charge, yeah he has had his ups n downs, but he is a young manager learnin the ropes while trying to instill some form of passing football at bp. remember the days of ronnie no more. i know whos football id rather b watchin. we r punchin above our weight even thinkin about bein in the top 6 , so if we had had a season where we only accomplished 10th we would b dissappointed, there is still time and points to acheive the unexpected. its not time to turn on the team or the manager, askin for shez to b sacked now would b shockin plus who would u wanna replace him with iain dowie, andy ritchie, what a joke like i said there is still points to b won so why dont we try supportin them n c what happens, whats the worst thing, we finish 7th n sheridan gets the boot n we start all over again thinkin we can acheive which is what u all want anyway
  8. nobody in this league has been consistent, its up to the lads 2 stand up and be counted now at this stage in the season. its up to shez n tommy wright n co 2 put some passion & desire in to the lads for the rest of the season. take away the pressure from the lads because lets face it who now expects us to reach the play-offs. just let them play the game because on our day we are a good side but on others we are shocking. im never surprised anymore by what happens at bp. are our expectations too high or are we really a team that should be challenging for a top six finish?
