Really poor show from Mitchell, standing in front of Katsidis with your back to the ropes is just suicide. As for Khan I think they've reached that point in his career where they don't have any have any option but to fight legit opponents (Bradley/Maidana/Alexander). To give credit to Khan he sounds up for it too, and unlike Warren, Goldenboy aren't over protective of their fighters. *cough*Calzaghe*cough*

Mitchell is one dimensional, over protected by Frank Warren and made the mistake of spending to much time on the ropes which you do not want to do against Katsidis. Khan put in a solid performance but looked sloppy when he wasn't throwing the jab, if he lunges in like that against Maidana or Devon Alexander then he gets put away.

Me too, I would love it if Dowie came back.

It's a bit of a catch 22 situation we've got. The owners can't and won't invest money in the squad when there's only 3k coming through the gates, and we can't get people to the gates because paying £20 to watch mediocre football in a :censored:hole of a stadium is hardly a pleasurable day out. Things wouldn't be so bad if we had money coming in from a club gym or hotel 7 days a week but we don't have that either. We need a new ground, and fast. I also believe Penney has earnt his right to stay and hopefully those stubborn bastards who've said they won't be back at BP whilst Penney is at the helm will change their minds if he does well next season. I suspect they will, football fans can be very fickle lol.

The Umbro kits were the best, end of story. Pony were clearly the worst.

I think we should spend conservatively until we move into the new stadium then use the money to make a big investment into the players.
