  1. I'm not as bothered about losing him as I would have been a few weeks back, our team seems to be more balanced without him. As long as we use the fee and funds his transfer will have freed up wisely then this is by no means a disaster.
  2. I had a load of chants about how much I hate women lined up, but I don't think I'll bother posting them now.
  3. I'm wasn't aiming my comments at anyone on here tbf. By and large the opinions, positive or negative, are pretty reasonable on here. But I left the game angrier about the supposed 'supporters' I was surrounded by than the actual performance. I understand the frustration, we've been in this division a long time now and I think we're all bloody sick of it, but some of the stuff I heard last Saturday went way past being a bit frustrated.
  4. You mustn't have been at the game last week then. 'Informed' is about the last word I'd use to describe some of the abuse I heard spouted. I'm not pre-empting anything. Only a tiny minority of Latics fans visit this site. I'm talking more about what I've heard at matches and read on social media. I'm not looking forward to it at all, quite the opposite. I'm sick of it.
  5. I think you know the answer to that, and are just being deliberately obtuse in an attempt to get a reaction. I've figured out your game pseudonym.
  6. And this against a side with a £1.2 million striker up front who will probably be challenging for automatic promotion come May. I'm not gonna start panicking yet.
  7. I can hear them sharpening their knives already. I really don't understand how difficult it is for people to realise that with a young manager, and a young and almost completely new squad, we're going to need to be patient for a while in order to let them gel. I've said it a few times and a fair few people have responded with "Oh we've been patient for 15 years" or other similar nonsense.
  8. I paid it on those occasions, albeit begrudgingly (football fan in being hypocrite shocker). But seriously, anyone who thinks £24 to watch 3rd tier football is reasonable is a bit of a moron in my opinion.
  9. Really? Wow. I don't blame the club for charging what they do, what with our attendances (although the price is partly to blame) and in order to compete generally, but I still feel like I'm being robbed every time I pay it. Anything above £20 and I'd stop attending games, it's as simple as that.
  10. This kind of attitude is the reason clubs in this country can continually get away with taking the piss with their prices. What if next season Latics home games went up to £25, would that be OK because it's 'only a fiver more'? Then clubs start charging us £30 for away games, but hey, it's only an extra fiver. And so on and so on...
  11. It isn't a massive over-reaction at all. £25-28 for league one football is disgusting. The more people bend over and pay it, the worse things are going to get.
  12. I've never noticed the non-mask John Malkovich peering through the crowd near the top right corner before. You get even more points from me if you deliberately left that
  13. Cheers lads. I downloaded GIMP and couldn't even work out how to cut his face out
  14. Excellent work, God I wish I could use photoshop. If someone could knock up a 'Being Cliff Byrne' picture I'd be much obliged
  15. That's pretty cool, shame I haven't started watching BB yet. Any chance of a Game of Thrones one? Possibly with a picture of a freezing Boundary Park and 'Winter is coming' underneath?
  16. It's a bit insensitive to victims of piracy though, isn't it? We're supposed to be a family club ffs
