Part timer!
-
But he's probably right...
He is most definitely right, however I am sick of the same :censored:ing story in every thread that get's started.
-
No matter what we say the manager will play the most experienced players at Liverpool, even if some of them aren't worth a place.
You are getting boring now.
-
Was he awful last year?
For me, it's more the fact that LJ has let him play football, rather than having him as a hoof merchant.
99% of the time he does his job and defends well and his maizy runs remind me of Jobson all those years ago. 1% of the time he drops a bollock, but that is all part of learning.
-
Easy to find out. Step forward some posters whose opinions I previously valued highly...
I think we should have Mr Corney arrange a public flogging at half time tomorrow!
-
I remember sitting with my head in my hands at half time at Forest and thinking how we had no chance.......then that 7 minutes...what a feeling!
The last minute goal against Everton.
Thinking we were doomed when we signed a rookie manager while in a perilous position...god, how he has proved most of us wrong!
Getting in at Bury and the gates shutting straight afterwards, leaving hundreds outside.
Have I missed anything??? Oh yeah, we knocked the 5 times European Champions and most successful side in the country out of the FA Cup....and when my 15 year old daughter looked at me for my approval for her to run on the pitch at the final whistle, I left her standing and jumped over the perimeter fence like a mad :censored: whilst attempting to pick Lee Croft up. Then walking out of the ground and getting myself on BBC North West shouting "COME ON YOU BLUE BOYS........." That has to be my greatest ever memory of supporting Latics!
-
Just booked our trains to Liverpool!
-
If he carries on like that he's going to convince me he's a decent footballer! Sly might get on board with the idea too!
That won't happen...never in a million years!
-
This, this and this all over deyres42...Strange that. My extra ticket went to my stepson.
He's been to most games this season. Including Gillingham away.
Perhaps you should make friends with a season ticket for next time. Or buy one.
-
Damn it, that puts paid to us winning 3-0.Always appears weak to me - and easily intimidated - big home crowd + weak ref = uh oh.....
-
Did we do voucher scheme for the last Anfield game? Can't remember.
It was exactly same as this time, including your moaning...and guess what??? Everyone who wanted a ticket got one.
-
Oh, I'll never agree that ST's should be able to get 2 tickets for any game but seem to be in a minority with that.
And there we have it!
Course they should. There are plenty left over.
-
Said in jest my friend.
I'd rather be in with the restricted view crew than the family block anyway.
Not so sure about that, it's been same thing with you for 3 seasons running!
-
ST's and their families have nabbed all the best seats innit.
You really do have a problem with Season Ticket holders don't you?
Bordering on an obsession at times.
-
This.Whoever was singing Jose baxter baby on several occasions throughout the game needs to take a long hard look at there selves.
He is history, why not sing songs for our players.
It's really, really, really embarrassing...surely it was a star struck little kid?
-
Why in earth would you waste a wage bill on Liam Dickinson. Bring back Warren Feeney whilst you're at it.
What is your problem?
-
im in queue tomorrow morning, must say oldham coverage a little poor re updates this time round , but unless your a seson ticket holder your not an oldham fan!!! thats how its seems as always . i work shifts and dont live local and have a family.all i would like is an update on how many are left and then i know what time to leave home , travel and queue and then come home and go in the opposite direction to work.
i make about 10 games a season am i not worthy?
I said it all along, there will be plenty of tickets this time around so you will be fine.
Going on the train this time as well mate, not bothering with a coach from Stalyvegas!
-
No he just walked back to the centre... Nice gesture
Fair play to him.
He's a legend in my eyes
-
Thank you all for the kind comments & offers of help, maybe it's Xmas time & people are in the spirit but its actually quite overwhelming that decent people want to help.
I'm sorry I can't address you by name (don't know it) but thank you so much for the above offer.
I had a really long think about this & I will decline. For me I'm not massively passionate about going to Liverpool and if I take the ticket I may end up ruining someone's Xmas/only chance of going to Anfield by taking the ticket & i wouldn't want that
Don't get me wrong i really really like Latics & am desperate for them to win & the other 19 premiership clubs would have really appealed to me
Once again thank you all for your kind generosity and I hope everyone who wants a ticket gets one
Now lets get something at Sheff Utd today!
Dean
You are welcome.

Also, I love Baxter as much as the next man, but let's focus on our own players during the game instead of singing for him...
Seriously? I have to question the sanity of Latics fans at times.....I mean, he can't be a legend after an 18 month stint surely?
Good player but come on!
Did he celebrate the goal?
-
Bloody hell, get well soon!nearly sliced my hand off gone through aload of tendons ,thanks for asking been fixed now just going to take a while to get back to normal
-
Awful news, just seen it on FB from someone I know who lives in Stockport.According to a County fan I know has died this morning.
Remember his debut at Sheff Weds and he was gone to Liverpool in no time.
Had he been ill for a while?
-
Due to a bad accident at work I can't make it,gutted is an understatement hate missing any games but against any premiership side makes it worse.Enjoy and embrace it games like this for a team stuck in the 3rd tier of the football league are as big as they come.
You alright yarddogs?
-
Mostly the second. But also, given the second, slightly the first. And I won't be off supporting Wigan, as I have a season ticket. It's the day out that convinced me.
Yeah, I reckon we will get a right hammering but I will pride myself in outsinging them at their own ground for 90 mins.
Fully understand your reasons though.

Cracking post.
Wish some of the miserable bastards who post bull:censored: on here could share a bit more optimism and stop trying to piss on everyone's chips.
