From what i read i reckon if well enough Prozac is the man to answer.. I was wondering if anyone know the number of season tickets that have been sold to date, Trying to do a few calculations for a paper I'm writing.. Any info would be really useful. Cheers

I spoke to DP after the game as he came up to the directors bar where i was sat (partners family hosted me for the day) apparently the call from Brill was 'AWAY' and it was misheard/ignored/too late therfore resulting in the goal, apparently Gregan held his hands up straight away and apologised.. DP wasn't too upset, as you can imagine 3pts away from home but did make the pont that mistakes will happen for a while longer whilst new players get to know existing players and alike

In my humble opinion i think the ratings are pretty much there or there abouts. Thought Gregan was great in the air but again when the balls on the floor he really does not fill me with any confidence. For me the stand out players were Furman and Parker, for no other reason than the ground they covered, general work rate and pressure they put on the ball. I was sat directly behind the dugouts as i was there with Orient fans (extended family, what can i say!!) at the end of the game i spoke for a while with DP who said that the call from Brill on their goal was 'away' and that Gregan had misinterpreted it and just stopped! didn't seem too bothered with it cos as he rightly pointed out its what happens when a defence gets used to a new keeper. Overall i thought it was a v.good performance from a new bunch of players definitely given the circumstances that we were away from home.

I don't understand where people like yourself get your logic from, Pound for pound we have a better squad than last season, ok we have the same CB pairing but DP must be aware of that and think he can work with them or have a contingency plan. We lost Hughes, One CF whom scored goals last year. I honestly believe that the pairing of Abbot and Parker will score more than our two CF did last year (don't know the exact number as many pairing, but combined, PA&KP will score more) We have a better midfield with a better engine, more competition all over the park and players that are young, fit (touch wood) and wanting to further their careers. How do you actually think we'll struggle? we may not be in for auto promo but a top 8 finish is a good season, and if it's top eight then why can't there be a push for top 6?

So can we expect eards to play Saturday, This fella play left back and kick Hazell into touch or for that matter Gregs and play Holdsworth at CB, Fits for me

I reckon only an emergency signing as DP stated earlier in the week to cover for Worthy.

He's only ever going to be cover for Parker and Abbot and taking into account Abbots' injury record and Parkers' discipline problems it's not the worst signing, as long as he's cheap! In my humble opinion he has a better footballing brain than COG, ok struggles abit in his execution but thats why he's vying for a contract with a L1 club.

What do people reckon to his performance today? thought seeing as he was on trial and didn't know his other CB he was pretty impressive. An error ti not offer him a contract at BP if you ask me.

Would you prefer him or Haining to sign?

This must be some kind ok joke, saw him at Halifax last night, He has no sense of positional play, often leaving Hainings side and creating big gaps between the two of them, it takes him 3 minutes to decide to make a 5yd pass and then he gets his feet mixed up. The only +ve i saw is he was ok in the air nut given his size not as dominant as i thought he's be. Please tell me this is not from a reliable sorce!

Neither goals were Hainings direct errors, the first was a comedy of missed challenges from all, their second was stated was a error by Lomax but not helped by the big yank CB ( name unsure of) being completely out of position, i've read some things saying we should have another look at him, I'm no scouting god but can tell you he's that tall his brain is not connected to his feet and if it is there is a great delay, he'd cost us goals this season, for me its Haining all the way. In regards to Alessandra and Rowney, Rowney looks like he's motivated and has a natural touch for a ball, something i believe Lewi has never shown. Anyone know who all the other trialists were? Although must say non stood out

I've got to agree, thought Lewi was weak, thought he was off the pace making runs, looks to have 0 confidence. For me the people that impressed were Rowney and Haining, although Haining did make a number of errors he wasn't helped by that lankey thing playing next to him in 2nd half, DP must realise the guy cant play the game, hopefully!!

I've not seen him before Dawson or Rowney for that matter. Rowney should not be one for the future he's gotta be for now, the composure he has the touch he possesses is something i believe has not been seen at BP for a long time, the kid could be a bit special

I agree, not all about score, its about fitness and sharpness, yes it wasnt the best game but interesting to see how people will knit together and also good to see fitness levels increasing. Taylor, Hazell, Gregan amongst others played no part at all tonight

I didn't get to Hyde so don't know faces but, Haining played tonight, There was a big fella at CB who according to chris taylor (sat next to me all night, not the most talkative) came from America, Another CB, longish hair and a couple more unknown faces

I do also come to think of it! Has anyone been tonight? i've just got back and can't make head nor tail of all the trialists I've seen tonight. A little help anybody?
