I thought the manager said no one is guaranteed a start. Nuttall needs to prove it IMO. Abraham has performed far better yet is  left on the sidelines.

Chapman is another who lacks drive.

I'm not overly impressed with Nuttall so far but just leave them both in for the rest of the season to hopefully build an understanding.

We've not tried that for years.

At what point will the fans collectively start chanting #UnsworthOut? The owners need to start hearing this, not just a couple of disgruntled supporters voicing their displeasure.

I'd like to think we'd be a bit more creative & wordy than that.....

"You big lying shithouse, get out of our club.....", for example......

I'm not going to lie, I'm absolutely dreading it. The reason being is that we've been awful for the majority of the season and I can't understand how Unsworth wants us to play.

    It's awful isn't it.

I've gone from - "my kids want to go to every game, this is great!" to "ah shit, the kids want to go to the match" in the space of months.

In the past I never understood people who could go regularly but didn't want to.

People have lots of different tipping points I suppose.

We knew why it was shit under Abdallah and wanted to get in the ground to vent and watch the mayhem unfold.

Now it's the fact that we thought it wasn't going to be like that anymore but it's somehow got worse.

    So frustrating, disappointing & depressing.

Anyway, enjoy the match everyone! 😃 😂💙

It was never going to be anything other than a relegation battle unless we went out and acquired 15 quality players in September, if anyone thought differently then they were either clueless or weren't paying attention.

Unsworth thought differently until he told us he never did......

Forgot were all geniuses at football management

I've been seeing this and similar a lot lately.

Many of us eat, sleep & shit OAFC (+ football in general) and have seen hundreds of, if not over a thousand, matches yet some crack on as if nobody can ever have picked any knowledge/insight up from that over all those years.....

It would be if we have a game in the next day or so. The whole set up is built round Unsworth. Not as easy to replace the whole thing quickly. 4 games in 2 weeks, not ideal to be changing it then.

Are you saying you're concerned that we might lose a football match or two if they were all sacked?

I guess Lyden and Stephens on pay as you play deals would strengthen our midfield as long as they stay injury-free & still have it.  It’ll help steady the ship and give us the push.

Or, instead of such a false economy/poor football decision, we could sign a couple on proper deals who we intend to get a few successful years out of.

One of the few things more baffling than the clubs constant piss arsing about with the squad is the constant encouragement from many for the club to constantly piss arse about with the squad.

Yes without Pidge we'd have been relegated a lot sooner than we were.

    That's a preposterous take.

The opposition had a goal or two's start for more than half the season due to his constantly kicking/heading the ball to them and his constant calamitous defending.

The points he directly, single handedly cost us were the difference between staying up and going down - assuming his replacement wouldn't have been as bad, which he wouldn't have been as that's impossible.

The idea that dropping Fondop was a disgrace earlier in his reign is laughable.

    Not really.

Fondop's form was good (5 in 8 as said) despite the teams poor form.

The teams already poor form then somehow got even poorer

I`ve just viewed our non league Table and it's very hard to stomach that we have sunk so low after all the excitement of the takeover. Add in that some are now getting giddy about the prospect of signing some non-league "prospects" here as if they are the new Ronaldo or something. We really do have to set our sights higher or we'll be stuck down here for a very long time. Frank - it's time to stop being nice; this is a multi-million pound business and you must now be seriously questioning some of your employees (apologies if Frank is too ill to address such issues, in which case other family members will have to step up to the mark).

Don't worry about the league table or how poor the team is or that the manager is almost as bad at bullshitting as he is managing - just join the cult instead and bask in all the AMAZING stuff that's going on off the pitch (so AMAZING nobody can explain what any of it is).

Hogan is at fault for the vast majority.
clarke alongside a younger defender i.e Okagbue/Sutton is the way to go.

Josef Yarney - formerly of Chesterfield most recently of Round Glass Punjab (yes, THE Round Glass Punjab) - has been on trial for ages.

Looks to have the same shite profile as most of our signings of late but would surely offer a bit more pace alongside Clarke.

I'd give McGahey another go alongside Clarke too.

  12. Why is he lying that he cares more about Oldham than anything else in his career?

Nobody wants/expects him to feel like that after so many years at Everton and time at other clubs.

Why say it? Just further cements his coming across as a disingenuous bullshitter constantly attempting to insult peoples intelligence.

Instead of pleading for unity now that the fans have turned against you Mr. Unsworth, how about an explanation of the "non-contact" tactics in the first half at County.

I demand a team that wins.

To me, he has to get at least 6 points from the 3 games post NYD. One of those probably has to be a win against Dorking otherwise its 3 defeats in a row and could be the end of him. If he is going to turn it around, it has to be in the next 5 games, otherwise it will be too late to recover.

I was talking about performance, not results. With the performances we saw under Shez I reckon his results may have averaged out around the same shitness as DU.

But, like i said, we'll never know. Basing it on how poorly we played and last season

But you'd imagine Shez wouldn't have spunked all that money, or let anyone else spunk it, on such poor players as Unsworth has.....

    We'll never know
