Halifax v Ebbsfleet postponed today, waterlogged pitch.
Halifax pitch must be a potato field.

Pitch looks fine. No excuses there.
Good to know, there had been fears expressed over the pitch previously. Cheers for the update,

More of the same performance against Chesterfield required today but will the pitch not lend itself to that?. For me a must win game, as are all the remaining fixture to secure a play off birth.

Lets be honest there should only be one winner today going off the season to date. Yet footballs a funny old game so lets see. Maybe a big part of our squad know, including some starters today they won't be here next season, nor want to be but, the desire to be footballer's that got them here should be enough to want to win.
Here's hoping that today we piss on the Champions elect parade and in doing so improve our play off chances.
COYB.

Anyone know what's going on with him?
Supposedly very impressive when he first moved to Hull.
This season he failed to make the squad for a while, then when he did he couldn't get off the bench. Was shipped out to Bristol Rovers in league 1 and is a bench warmer again for them not really featuring much?
Perhaps he isn't as good as lorded on here. I certainly didn't see HV as the answer for our woes when many did. Not saying he's garbage and that he doesn't have some future in the game however, for me not the giddy heights some on here loudly proclaimed.

Text book buck passing from Mellon.
Really?
I'd say fair play to him. He's selected the players and shown faith in them. Cross the white line and keep your shirt. Are the players doing that?

Didn't TGOBM stand for the ghost of Brendan McManus?
It did

We lost a regular JK Latics contributor a few months ago, BLUMAX.
Still in regular contact with the likes of LatikNik, Wilson etc. Some lapsed fans but all Latics at heart...
There's lots of them from JK Latics days.

As you can see from @Matt's homage (also at the top of OWTB right now), it was indeed Jack and Kate:
Mike Stott was also involved with Jack in running the site, he still goes to Latics. Not heard or seen Jack in a long time.

Yes, I posted on JK Latics. I remember Jack and myself interviewing Kenny Clements at Diggle Band Club for an article on there. All for a 3 pints fee!!
TGOBM was quite a knowledgeable chap, many suspected it was Alan Hardy, not sure about that myself but I do wonder what became of him.

It isn't anti semitic to hope Israel stop shelling innocent civilians is it?
Just out of curiosity, what percentage of those don't want to wipe Israel of the face of the earth?
I really don't know how people come down on side of this conflict, for me there's no one side in the right.

Yes agree Lags. Blackburn was our main rival for many seasons in the old 2nd division. Used to be a big home Boxing day fixture with 15-20k there.
Clue is in the no, neh, never chant, BASTARD ROVERS!!
Probably the most trouble however was when we played Bolton. They used to bring a fair mob and ran us a few times in the Chaddy!!
Defo, it was always not for the faint hearted at Burnden Park.

Latics playing as badly as the camera work. Shockingly poor for a side trying to get in the play offs
