Forster and Charles Cook have left Bromley. The two stand outs in our game. Unfortunately Forster has signed for Crawley.

Ogle is very good

Kilcline, Pointon, Currie, Sharp......
Its an unpopular view but I think Big Joe lost the plot somewhat when he had cash to spend rather than collecting players who wanted to succeed but weren't rated by their clubs.
Perhaps there was other stuff going on but we were relegated with a poorer team than the one we were promoted with.
I think that's right but you cant include Sharp in that. Our highest top flight goalscorer.

No it was everybody!!
tranmere even dropped in to tell us.
Basil told us at least twice, so it might be him you remember.
Has anyone dropped in on the Rochdale board to patronise them?

David Worrall signs for Barrow

I'm slightly worried a few people are getting onboard HMS Piss the League once more.

Absolutely. Who on earth gave them such long contracts? Terrible decisions. They're all crap.
In the case of McGahey and Leutwiler - Mo due the fuck up at the start of last season. What should have been one year contracts have become three year ones.

Can we stream this on NL TV?

Would be nice as @Flemboy said in another thread to get some payback for probably our worst performance of the campaign, incidentally Unsworth's first game in charge.
Seems like a different country and shows how far we've come. Only two starters from that game likely to start at the weekend (Norman and Sheron). Some of the players that did start that day (Charlie Wellens, Oscar Threlkeld, Mitchell Roberts, Luke Burgess, Junior Luamba?) are likely to be little more than a footnote in a our history from a season where we finally bottomed out.
We hope

It had a better bar and steak pie as I remarked on my post match comment but their home end is a tin shed
That's not the home end as such. Other end is a great facility with a fantastic sports bar and conference/academy teaching facilities etc.

I'm looking forward to Saturday to see how much we have improved on the performance down at their tin shed ground when we had only one effort on goal as I recall.
Their tin shed ground with vastly superior facilities to BP.

If I’m right, they’d play whoever finish fourth rather than fifth, and if they win that then Notts county. Seems a risky strategy for an extra day’s rest to me.
Agreed. Also finishing 4th is actually worse than finishing 5th because you end up playing 2nd instead of 3rd.

This
Spoke to the Bromley manager last night at their awards do and he said he'd prefer them to finish 7th as they get an extra day to prepare.

James Berry out of our price range now, its a shame as he's one of the best non league prospects I've seen in years.
Why have you not mentioned him before?

Sorry, the players are professionals and should have been up for it no matter what.
My company had terrible managers and announced massive staff cuts, but I never took it out on the public
By that rationale it doesn't matter who owns us as its all down to the players/manager. Lets get the Lemsagams back.

Can someone explain to me again this weird fetish for wanting to sign players from this terrible league and the even worse ones below rather than proper EFL players?
Surely we can compete with, eg, Accrington/Barrow in terms of wages & what a buzz it would be to play in front of 5k to 7k at BP pushing for promotion...?
Agree but this is the league i've watched this season
-
From the NL games I've seen this season these are the players I would say we should be looking at from this division. Add to the list and lets see if any come in..
Reece Hannam (LB Palace)
George Wickens (GK Fulham)
Jack Bridge (Southend)
Regan Ogle (Scunthorpe)
Jacob Butterfield (Scunthorpe)
James McShane (Dorking)
Lee Ndlovu (Boreham Wood)
Michael Cheek (Bromley)
Corey Whiteley (Bromley)
Omar Sowunmi (Bromley)
(Yes i go to a lot of Bromley games)

Its a pointless argument because they do count. End of!

I've one previously mentioned definitely under the radar by the club, watch this space.
Does that mean they are watching him or not?

IIRC the only two we had registration issues with were Leutwiler and McGahey.
The irony of only being allowed one year contracts but ending up with them for 3. Thanks Mo.

I do wonder if it is just us making the opposition look better. The lad Conteh for Gateshead looked a very good player for instance...
I saw Bobby Joe Taylor play for Dorking at the weekend and he was bang average
