Loan signings should in my opinion not be playing in front of your own contracted keeper - more than any other place on the pitch you need consistency and a chance for a relationship and trust to be built.
Not even if the loan keeper is better?
-
Good signing IMO. Chubs, whilst making some very good saves, has also maybe let himself down on some of the goals recently so some competition should be good. Kenny will be fit, LJ wouldn't have signed him if he wasn't. Will be interesting to see who starts on the saturday.

I don't get why people have to moan at the trust so much. Yeah barry wasn't there but he was on a course (apparently) so it wasn't that he couldn't be bothered. As long as he knows what was discussed then whats the issue. Also does it matter if what they discussed was trivial like forks and food, it was a genuine concern of some fans.

Brown was terrible at the start of last season. Then he had an epiphany in the second half of the Peterborough game and learnt he could run forward with the ball. This made him better, however he was still the weakest link in the defence last season. This season we have wilson and kusunga both ahead of him at rb, mellor could probably fill in there, he simply isnt needed. As others have said, for a third choice rb he's brilliant. Also it removes a wage, striker in?

What do people feel the "fan on the board" should do then as it seems people have different ideas as to what their role should be.
-
Lets be honest, none of us really know the full extent of barry's work at the club. That being said he's clearly gained a lot of experience which is of paramount importance to the trust. A single role of fans rep as a sort of sidekick to barry could work, but then again if only 12 people turn up to the trusts agm, why do loads of people believe their views are not being taken into account. If you go to trust meetings im pretty sure your opinion would be listened to and taken on board.
On a second note if you believe you could do a better job than barry, join the trust and work from there.

matt chambers will pop up saying they're all from us in a minute. Relief though, that's the last thing we need at the moment.
-
Not from Carlisle or Blackpool according to both clubs.
-
So he's a crap signing because some Preston fans said he was? Isn't that exactly what the St Mirren fans said about Harkins?
-
Personal preference isn't it really, if i want a pint and a bit of a karaoke sesh i will go to the pub
as for a saturday afternoon, i will watch the game from my favourite stand, cheer the players efforts ( albeit, they may never hear me ) and feel content

So there we have it, just by having a simple poll on here we have proved that the Rocky is wonderful and the Chaddy totally :censored:e !
I simply cannot wait to be ousted from my preferred seat in the Chaddy end along with the other half a dozen stubborn old gits and sample those fantastic amenities in the Rocky.
The question is, will there be enough room to accommodate us ? afterall, there currently must be at least 3 times as many punters in there as in the Chaddy end.
Oh hang on a minute ...

I've got a season ticket in the main stand actually.
There's a bar in Rochdale road end . There's potential for atmosphere . There's a good view which isn't restricted . There's more potential for a safe standing section . Etc etc etc
Not against the idea of everyone in either the chaddy or RRE, especially on tuesday nights, feel there would be the same potential for both ends, depends on whether people would move from the chaddy. i'd be willing but a fair few wouldnt i suspect.

Funny when Weso was injured and Winchester was struggling at the same time he still couldn't get in the side !!!
I can't understand why we sign a Duffer to replace an injured player who can't get in the side when fit !!!!!!!
you've written dunfield off when everyone in that first half was as crap as each other.
-
- can we give the chaddy end to away fans and put everyone into the rre end !? This really needs to happen in my opinion .
Why not the other way around or should everyone just sit where you want to sit? (have nothing against RRE)

LJ is talking crap On Winchester and needs to stop saying stupid things about his younger players and acting like its there fault and his hands are ties. He said something about Mellor have issues in his head early in the season as well and that didn't help. It's his responsibility to develop them but he isn't. He doesn't even explain the changes when he drops them and that's a fact!
I know Winchester and he isn't fit for 90mins due to lack of match practise. He has been pulled out of the reserve squad tha last few times as he's been in the first the squad and couldn't be risked incase he was injured.
Don't drop ya young lads for a crap Canadian with no league 1 experience and was released from a poor League I Oct!
yes, Johnson thought i'll drop Winchester for a crap Canadian with no league 1 experience who was released from a poor league in October, or maybe in training this guy looked the better option.

The team set up was wrong for me, the lack of a winger made us far too narrow. Couple that with the way they came out and all forgot how to play together was the problem. They were just chasing shadows in the first half. The full backs need to get forward more and give us an outlet. Confidence on the ball was so low, afraid to take more than one touch. Deserved to be 2 down after that first half. To our credit we came out with a bit of fight in the second half but on a balance deserved nothing from the game.

One thing that has not been mentioned here is the abysmal distribution from the defensive third.
I fail to see how we can play any constructive football with the back four set up as it was tonight. Any decent possession was hoofed away our negatively passed into inadvertently dangerous areas.
Truly awful in the first half and headlessly showing some commitment in the second. It is rare to come out of a game of football with so little to be positive about. The team played like the relative strangers they looked like on the teamsheet!!
The defense shouldn't be the ones to be creating the play, midfield need to show for it. That didn't happen first half.

Every cloud has a silver lining, at least uncle Simon can recoup what he loses on Monty

There won't be a problem with Ched Evans, we have Barry available to smooth the path for a return to stardom

rachubka 1 game 1 clean sheet, oxley 14 games 1 clean sheet, you know it makes sense to stick rachubka in the sticks!
that 1 game was alot easier to keep a clean sheet than most of oxleys though.
Do the club listen ?
